Hi All Really need help here, Some of our ipads have been updated to ios8.2 that in its self is not a problem as such. However If I try and enrol them on to our mdm (Apple profile manager) via a https weblink it fails with a certificate error ssl If I try with an ios 7 ipad it work with the certificate warning but still allows me to the web enrol. The certificates being used are self signed certificates. Do I need to recreate new ones or do I have to buy a certificate from trusted source. Certs are fairly new to me.

I have been trail a few of our managed ipads on ios8.0 and hit a problem when I come to enrol them onto our mac server when I try and goto http://hhsmacserver.***.***.***/mydevices I get the following error there was a problem communicating with the secure web proxy server (https) Did not have this problem with ios7.** is there something I need to do on ios8 or server to fix this problem or is it a known issue. **UPDATE** I just install chrome on ipad to see what problem was and see if it was a safari issue but it looks like cert problem as chrome saying certificate is Malformed Certificate ANy help please this is a self signed ssl cert

Sorry should have given more details but first day back craziness Server windows 2008r2 IIS7 We have 2 php site a booking system and limesurvey, when you try and login to these site it will not log you in it just refresh the logon screen for php login.

Having come back of f holiday we have found that we cannot logon to any of our internal hosted php sites. When we logon as a user it just shows the login box with no errors. If we logon as a user we knows does not excist then it shows an error of unkown user etc. Before holidays we had some issues with window 2008 r2 and our local tech have done some updating of windows but they cannot help as far as this problem is concern. Can any one help advise us where to look for a problem as nothing is appearing in logs as an error. THanks Stuart

I followed SEAWOLFS guide in setuping up ipads on school and all seem to go well be when i came to ipad 11 of 16 it says i cannot register anymore devices with this apple id. I am telling it to install Music, apps, updates automatically. Even thou his guid only mentions apps only to install. automatically. I have 2 banks of 16 ipads to do by end of the week I am using apple configuarter and Apple Profile manager. What am I doing wrong. Stuart

I am using a single account for the 16 ipads but I have just hit a problem in that when I enter account details into number 11 upwards its says I cannot associate anymore devices with this iTunes account. How can I get around this with out creating individual accounts for each ipad Is this problem caused by auto syncing the Music Stuart

Anyone have problems downloading ths ios 7.1.1 upadate in apple configurator. I am trying to prep some ipads via configurator but it keeps failing on the ios 7.1.1 update and as these are supervised devices I cannot turn the auto update off in configurator/ Any help/advice Stuart

I have followed Seawolfs guide and have managed to get app to go out to pads but how do I remove them via PM. I take the app off the apps list and tell to push VPP apps out but it does not remove apps off pads that I do not want any more. THanks Stuart

Is it possiable to turn off the requirement to have a passcode on ipads ios7 I have configured ipads in mdm and final got it send apps out to devices with help from guides on here but the passcode could be a problem. I do not have passcode payloads configured but I still getting asked to set passcode. Thanks Stuart

I have been asked to enable mouse trail for an SEN pupil, I cannot see how this can be done easily. THe pupil uses different computers/laptops I cannot see how I could do this from GPO/RMMC Any advice/help please. RM CC4.3 network and windows 7 32 bit Workstations Stuart

I am looking at going on the IOS training offered by RM in either Feb or May. I have problems walking is there any close by to stay by RM in Didcot that is a reasonable price that I can go to my bosses with. Also I can only fined RM with this training ios deployment and admin does anyone else know if this type of training is offered by any other companys maybe closer to the Wirral or Liverpool. Thanks to all for suggestions we have connected a few companies on the suggestion list and so far been pleased with how thwey have respone. Today we hat staff from SwitchShop and never might a nicer bunch of guys not pushey and know there stuff lets see what the other companies come up with

Hi, We have setup a radius server on Windows 2008 r2 and smoothwall express 3.0 we want to use radius auth on smooth wall and so set that up. How ever when we try and go thru smoothwall it challenges us for the username and password as it is meant to do but then it keeps on challenging us time and time again and then denies access to smoothwall. It as if the user name and password are in correct, however when we set up a radius test on our ruckus controller(it has a radius test feature) it works. Is there something we are missing to do? Is smoothwall express and win2008r2 not happy together? Do we need to MOD smoothwall in another way? Thanks in advance Stuart

Help please We have just bought 15 ipads and a mac mini server to manage them We have got apple config working and can get them to a basic config but when we then try and modify them thru profile manager they just will not talk to server or server talk to them We have a Enrollment certificate and all that it just hangs when trying to push anything out to them the mac server is called macserver.local and is not on any domains. I have a dns forward macserver.local to ip but it seems to me it is when the ipads are trying to get to http:// or https://macserver.local that it freezes. So I thought that I would do a pac file so that I can exclude macserver.local from proxy and go DIRECT but it does not work copy of pac file follows it works in that the DIRECT element goes to macserver.local but proxy bit does not work. How have you done the VM machines we are cc4 and are looking at doing this I know RM have got a blue print for Virtual BOx but it £50.00 and at moment School has put a stop on all ordering till new accounts open in september. so looking at alternatives. We have 2008 r2 64 bit servers and windows 7 cc4 workstations need to run what you have on about 40-45 machines. Thanks Stuart

We did this last year and copyed all user data over over 1000 users and then ran health check. No problems we then just stored cc3 user backups unitl recently. No shortcuts and no chance of pupils/staff filling up with to much rubbish.

Yep We would have the file on our server and the nominated staff would upload the updated file. And then a new graph or chart or something woould update on webpage.
