Sorry wrote request out and posted before finishing What we want is something that will read from a txt file some values IE House1 456 House2 123 House3 5000 And then display a chart All we have to do then is upload the new figures on a weekly/monthly etc and it will display new chart. Also we want to show attendance figures House1 98% House2 94% House3 99.5% Again on weekly or monthly basis. Hope that is a bit more Clear. Stuart

I am trying to use the smtp server on live@edu for or moodle server and other bit around the school. We are a Webanywhere school. and have had them look at them problem and they say it is a problem at MS end at to contact them. But i was wondering if anyone else had any thoughts ideas. Problem is SMTP does not work beacuse "The problem is that when we the RCPT TO part of the message is sent to the SMTP server, it sees the upper-case R and immediately renegotiates the connection. As a result, none of the messages actually get sent. There are flags that can be set when running the program (-quiet or -ign_eof) but we can't run them from our end, they'd have to be run internally." Has anyone get a working MSI or package for cc4 that they can let me have. Every time i try and build package it fails or when it works it does not install on to WIndows 7 workstations. I have tried a couple of time to build the package and all seems okay but it will not assign out just errors. Or can anyone tell me another way to install software from Server 2008 R2 i would rather not go around an manual install to 100+ workstations. I know there are other issues to work around but i need to get a working package first Or does anyone know of any alternative software that can be used my IT co-ordinator is saying it can only be APP inventor by MIT as that is what he has read in his paperwork. I have looked at Mobione Studio as it does bot Andriod and Apple but open to othe suggestions.

HAve no choice I am doing as i am asked by management. I know it mad but I am just a mer cog in machine. They know about the pros and cons and are still happy to do it. I am not doing the day to day managment that is going to be the librarian (Opps no-one told her yet!!!) :-)

Hi Guys, I have been tasked buying 30 kindles for our english department. Firstly I know all the issues abount managing them that is not the problem the problem i am having is that trying to buy the, I thought i would apply for the credit account Amazon offers but when i come to fill in the form it will not let me input english details ie postcode etc. I tried to ring them but kept getting passed around and gave up in the end. Anyone had success in get a credit account from Amazon if so what best way did you did it. We do not really have a school Credit card we can use. We are just starting dow the vm route and have install esxi and vsphere client and got things working but we thought that these products where free but we are getting 60 days warning when we run Vsphere client. What parts are free to use and what are trial. What type of price a re we looking at for a 1 physical server with 2 processers 4 cores each 16gb ram. we have the server it just the software. We are looking at running 3-5 vm mainly smoothwall and moodle vms. THanks in advance Stuart

We are starting a new project to build a new filter system. We want to run 3 smoothwalls as vm machines to filter staff and kids and also have a backup vm machine We have a spare Server that is good spec what we want to know is 1) Best Host System 2) Best vm software to manage and create the images. All the above has no budget avail to it so what can we do Advice Please. Got GADS working and creating the users and set schdule but cannot get GAPS working I do not have reverse password encryption tick in AD do i need that some forums say yes and some say no. Is it because it is a CC$ RM AD i know htey modify it for themselves THanks Stuart

We are starting to use iris software behaviour managment and it is going well. Next we are about to roll out the rewards to pupils and this is what i want help with. We are going to get 6th formers to look after a rewards shop and what i need is this A simple to use and manage front end that will Allow the following 1) Display a Picture, Description, Stock Level and Rewards COst 2) A Way the managers can logon and add,update and delete stock. 3) If possable a form that when pupils click on add/select it adds to a list that is then email/printed to a shop manager email. It would be nice that when something selected it take from stock but not important. I was wondering if anyone had something like that running or know of a FREE project around that i can use. It can be in PHP/mysql I am running iis7.5 with mysql php also running Moodle. Any help would be gratfull Thanks Stuart

We ar movig our students to Gmail and i have a couple of issues 1) How do we get it to sync passwords with our AD on windows 2008 r2, I ahve seen a mixture of solutions but not a really clear step by step I have installed GADS and that works great I have installed the google password sync but nothing happens even when i change password it still does not logmein Is it that i have to wait a longer for sync to happen or am i missing something some people are talking about sha1filter dll but i read nothing about thaton google help. I would even consinder single sign on but we CANNOT pay anything. I know my way round IIS so if it something we can do for free then i will consider that option. Hi guys we are running office 2010 on CC3 Workstations with windows 2003 servers We have the ADM that comes from RM to allow basic office 2010 setting to be changed but we would like to change others mainly the Autosave feature etc. We have download the adm file from MS and tried adding to the type manager but theydo not appear in managment console. Has anyone got all the adm fiel working on CC3 for office 2010 if so how or if you know how i should do it then please help we have never done importing adm file before for cc3 but the RM ADM office 2010 is a bit thin on the ground. I have moodle running on Linux Server using LDAP auth back to cc3 Domain all works I have got HAp installed Latest ver and it also using Ad Ldap and all works. Question 1 HAP MOODLE Is there anyway we can get the username and password passed to HAP automaticaly after the user logs in to moodle that way we are keeping to our 1 username login policy I only want this so that pupils can access there my files and Shared files. Question 2 Hap only We have staff on our admin network which is where all ther files are stored, however HAP is auth only on CC3 is it possiable to have to domains to auth users. IE pupils logon auth againts CC3 and show work file from there Staff logon and auth against Admin network and show there work files on admin network. Thanks in advance Stuart

Hi Nick the new version 7.6 fixed the AD problem above and i finsihed the install so when i loggon i was called to to see all the icons But when i click on my Files I see nothing at all no files of any type. I have tried in Basic and Extended. Help/advice please Stuart

Yes it is wroking just my typeing late at night i have a screen with alot of / commands displayed. If i type in hap/api/setup/GetADTree I get following Method not allowed. Please see the service help page for constructing valid requests to the service. Stuart
