We had the high contrast issue and was resolved by updating the video drivers.

Have you added the driver to the build disk, regenerated build disk and updated the wim in wds?

You need to regenerate your build disk and then replace the wim file in wds

Remove the check box from Automatically detect settings and chrome should open first time without the need to launch ie first

Are both the admx files required to be copied over? Chrome.admx and google.admx

Are your stations requiring any system updates? Usually visible in RMMC under the computers node
