We have a client who wants to upgrade their SCCM server, at least 1 full day possibly 2 days worth of work, must really know the software and done similar upgrades before as the onsite technician is reasonably confident already, just wants a specialist to ensure it runs smoothly They currently have sql server 11.0.6251 server 2012 r2 sccm 2012 sp2 (5.00.8239.1000) and would like to upgrade to SCCM 1810 at least. Ideally 30th and 31st may so could be good for someone who has to take time off in half term or can sign off for a couple of days. Pay negotiable but commensurate with consultancy Will

In the intervening five years it has done just that! The Senior Technician will further enhance the IT services to over 450 students and 50 staff. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking to take on more strategic or management responsibility, leading project work and moulding service improvements, whilst still remaining very hands on. You will be managing the day to day tasks of a junior member of staff, as well as being the liaison to 3rd party support. Ideally you will be able to guide and reduce what external support is required, until the department is able to manage more effectively on its own, and that is a really exciting aspect of this opportunity. A secondary academy in north London requires an experienced VMware specialist to provide a few days consultancy relating to a schools upgrade from free VMware set up to enterprise versions You will be expected to advise on which software version to go for with their set up, assist with major server porting including AD and SCCM, then advise internal staff in porting the remaining servers and provide some health check work afterwards to make sure everything is running correctly Someone with certificates to back up the experience would be preferred including VCA, VCP etc This work can be done inside or outside of term time, although the sooner the better. Someone network managing a secondary school who has done this before would be sufficient.
