The MIS Manager will be responsible for the management, optimisation, and strategic development of iSAMS and other MIS-related platforms across the Eltham College Family of Schools. This education focussed IT support company has an opening for an IT Engineer to maintain, support and develop school networks across the boroughs of Barnet and Ealin primarily with 1 school in Islington. What’s in it for you? Well firstly access to their own MS training portal so you can progress your CPD at your own pace! A full time post but could also be term time only if that suits you. 8-4pm onsite with 1hr for lunch An additional monthly travel allowance paid directly to you for Car or Public Transport and usually free parking on site available. Unusually the potential to have time off during term time to gain those cheaper holidays! You’ll get 20 days, plus bank, plus Christmas Break off (so @ 31 days in total) and you’ll usually be a whole day in 1 school (no lunch time commutes), although you will need to be flexible especially when taking part in projects with other colleagues and to meet at the annual company day. You'll need to have comprehensive 2nd line experience in 365, Windows 10, Server 2012 and above, Active Directory, Group Policy, Intune and MS entra. Part Time on-site ICT Technician – Central Manchester - £140-180 per day neg Small secondary level College with 6th form in Central Manchester needs a part time IT Technician, flexible and customer focussed, with good experience of 1st and some 2nd line IT and Network Support and maintenance. Working with an offsite network manager, you will be very staff and student facing, providing support for mostly Microsoft Technologies for around 240 students and staff up to 6th form as well as O365, Intune, Azure and hybrid on site Active Directory, Network Changes, DNS, DHCP and a Device Migration Project rolling out Surface pro’s. Familiarity with sims, teams for education and windows server would be highly advantageous. This is a 2 days a week roll, ideally 2 consecutive days, and initially up to the 28th June 2024, although could extend after the summer break. Based in central Manchester so easily accessible by bus, train or tram Education experience is preferred although not essential, ability to undertake an appropriate DBS is essential. They pride themselves on developing their staff and will not prevent you from progressing and developing your IT skillsets. You’ll get great satisfaction from supporting and developing the IT and futures of children across West London and working in a close-knit team. You’ll already have a good 1+ year of IT support, ideally in an education setting, and either O365 or Google workspace. You’ll pride yourself on your troubleshooting skills in Windows Desktop, Server, Exchange and AD, DHCP, DNS etc, You’ll be supporting and developing your knowledge of core windows technologies, infrastructure and other softwares. This role will require a car owner and driver, mileage from your home, as well as pension and discounted health care cover.
