ICT Support Technician – North London Up to £33,000 dependent on experience as well as excellent benefts A leading Independent school group are looking for an experienced 2nd/3rd line ICT Support Technician to provide day-to-day support for the staff and students at two school sites, in Camden and Highbury (North London). With support from the Schools ICT Manager, you will be providing 2nd and ideally some 3rd line support to both staff and students to ensure an efficient ICT Service is delivered at all times. You will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance of all computer hardware and network services, resolution of all ICT faults and requests both onsite and remotely, installation and configuration of hardware and software, maintaining site documentation, managing user accounts, server back-ups, monitoring ICT security as well as other reasonably requested duties.   2. 6 month interim contract, up to £35,000 negotiable and pro rata dependent on experience, possible temp to perm Our client, a growing Multi Academy Trust, is looking to recruit an experienced ICT Manager or Senior Engineer based in the North Nottingham area. Working directly with your 2 nominated academies, the postholder will provide leadership for the onsite school ICT teams as well as ensure that an effective customer focused IT service is being delivered. This role will interface between the central ICT Team and the academies to facilitate a quick resolution of technical issues in addition to managing budgets, key systems and leading on ICT projects. IT SUPPORT ENGINEER – SUTTON UP TO £25,000 DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE – 1 YEAR CONTRACT Our client, a well established local managed service provider, is looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their existing team supporting a number of Primary Schools, Small Business’ and charities in and around the Sutton, Croydon, South West London and North Surrey areas. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the Education Sector, along with relevant technical experience will be essential for this position. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high quality 1st and 2nd line support as part of the existing Field team, carrying out fault diagnosis on site and remotely, rectifying faults, ensuring all items are logged correctly via the service desk as well as ensuring users receive timely updates and feedback whilst working on their requests. Led by the Head of Desktop Services, your role will be to support all members of the school in their use of Information Technology including desktop equipment, infrastructure, networking and training. The postholder will be responsible for providing first class, customer focused IT Support, building and updating operating systems and applications images for desktops/laptops, patching, installing and configuring computers, printers and ipads, managing the SIMS provisioning tool as well as updating the Service Desk system with progress, including managing communication with users through to completion of incidents. Network Manager Full Time – All Year Round £33k to £43.5k dependent on experience South West London Job Description We are working with a South West London based academy that’s keen to be at the forefront of IT in schools and are looking for a Network Manager who is passionate about their role and able to look at enhancing the provision and developments of IT for the academies future. Your role will involve IT service provision of the highest quality taking overall responsibility for the IT service provision, ensure that IT provision is managed, supported, maintained, robust and developed. You will be required to ensure the IT provision aligns with the needs and overall strategy for the academy, use structured IT management systems, ensure the IT support service meets or exceeds service targets defined by the leadership team and develop, implement, monitor and review processes and procedures within the IT support service. The company is well established and growing rapidly supplying day to day operational support, networking, broadband, MIS support (SIMS and Integris) and installation project work. As an MIS Consultant, it will be your job to provide 2nd and 3rd Line telephone and remote MIS support to both primary and secondary schools, facilitate communication between your schools and the company, keep up to date with what services the company can offer and manager your customer accounts.
