Just finished updating the websites for school closure - we're shut for the rest of the week. Snow not deep here, but coming down steadily and bitter cold would make any commute dangerous.

Apparently our area has been given a red weather warning by the local police. It's not particularly nice out there and I need to go out in it to visit parents, I'll be walking so I'll have to wrap up well

No snow overnight. Yippee!

Unfortunately it just started again :(

The local radio station KMFM played the start of “Merry Christmas Everyone”.... “Snow is falling. All around me. Children playing. Having fun...”

Then they moved onto “Do you want to build a snowman?” but sang “Do you want to build a snowplough?” over it. :D

We’ve had enough in Kent now!

Earlier this morning I received a text to say "Don't come in - school is closed" - This has made a very happy 'fugi.

So instead I've just spent an hour out on the park with the puppydogbearfish - This has made a very excited and happy pupper.

Please excuse the second one as she's unable to stay still while excited.

We have snow too and the school is closed. Silly really as there is only a couple of inches but apparently it is because the forecast is bad for later in the day.

Not much in Cheltenham - school open!

Tomorrow I've booked the day off to go to a careers and Uni fair with my daughter at the NEC!

Hopefully the motorways M5/M42 will be OK tomorrow, anyone near the NEC feel free to give me a snow update!

The Met Office has now issued a red warning for the south west and south Wales

hopefully right! we're on the very west coast of wales and nothing yet.. albeit a few specs of snow

We were told the school would be opening just before 7am - 5 minutes before the snow started falling again over West London. It got quite heavy for a while, right when everyone would be making their way into school. I think it was the wrong call, but most people are here now and the snow has calmed down.

A couple of the other schools nearby have closed.

we're closed.....cleared all the paths before the decision was made. Just sitting here twiddling my thumbs, if the staff are doing nowt, i am going to follow suit.

May build a snowman on the playground!
