We have snow! It's falling fairly heavily, with large(is) flakes, but I don't think it will settle, as we had rain earlier. Link: #uksnow Map - See where it is snowing in the UK right now!

After a full weekend of fun I was down to my last backup quad, old faithful Immersion RC 250 Pro with 6" arms. Here is a fun flight up and down the mountain, on stock settings and not being flown in a while the old bird handled well but a little sloppy on the controls. This flight was just for pure fun and to take in the beautiful surroundings. Huge thank you to Team Break Out FPV for an awesome weekend

We have snow here [that wasn't forecast] I am at work and it is looking like the school could be closed today. What is it like where you are today?

I note that we here in Preston are to get a heavy dump of snow over the next 24 hours or so (building up overnight from sleet this afternoon). I'm quite a fan of a decent winter and haven't been dissapointed this year with it barely getting above freezing for the past few weeks and the ground is nice and hard. This has also given us some very nice clear starry nights where I can get my telescope out in the back garden without it being squelchy! We rarely get snow here and as we've already had a couple of light coatings so far and am quite looking forwards to a scruncy snow walk tomorrow Anyone else had any snow fun yet this winter?

Hi All, Here are some video's that I did over the recent holidays we had. The first two have a few clips of my friend learning to fly his Hexacopter which he built using the parts list I posted on EduGeek. All best viewed in fullscreen@720p FPV Quadcopter Holiday Fun with crash FPV Quadcopter The Bears go down to the woods today FPV Quadcopter Winter Time This last video is a bit shakey because I had a damaged front arm and I later found out I had a bent motor shaft which was sending the flight controller into a quivering mess lol but I was in such a rush to get in the air to capture some snow before it melted that I did not mind. Check out my channel if you want to see more or subscribe so you know when I add a new one https://www.youtube.com/user/jab1a/videos?view=0 So did anyone build a multicopter over the holidays?

Its getting up to that time of year where the weather turns into this white stuff that kids adore, this is mainly because of them getting a day off school. my question however is what does your school do to their website to notify visitors about the closure, as im currently new to doing the website i didnt know what the best route to go down is, im running wordpress and could do with some ideas on the best notifcation system for the web alone as we also use schoolcomms to text the childrens parents about the snow.

As the title says we have had our first fall of snow. Not much more than a dusting and now it's turning quite wet.

I have just seen the Countryfile forecast for the week ahead: Light flurries all week with the potential for significant accumulations on Friday in my part of the world. Adverse weather lasting into the following week. No warnings issued by the Met Office as yet. Here we go again?

It's absolutely throwing it down!! Sixth formers already sent home, rest of the school closing at 12!!

Thought I'd start a new thread for 2018 I'll start with this :-

We have a little bit of snow in the North. Everybody panic. Lock up your family and prepare to eat your first born.
