Coronavirus: General discussion (see opening post for rules)
witch replied to Dos_Box's topic in General Chat
Daughter and son in law had it a few weeks back. Main symptom was a horrendous headache for 5 days I have had it for the past week but my only symptoms were a bit of a snotty nose and bunged up feeling - and i am a bit wheezy ~(asthmatic) -
Never heard them called that - I just know them as squat star jumps! I have done a whole burpee workout but they arent my fave Get-ups I like I had never seen that exercise you call the Devils Press until last week when it turned up in a routine - basically it was a set of say, upper body exercises, then a round of some sort of burpee, then maybe lower body, then a different burpee. The Devil's press is not super amusing but I shall try to do it more. I also still cant do proper push-ups. Can do them on an incline or on my knees but despite many years of trying, following various trainers offering different ways to do them - nope, still can't I will try increasing the reps to see if that will bridge the gap to the next weight. Thanks for that, nobody has suggested that before

I thought she was OK but the film in general was pretty bad. Skimmed the surface of the whole situation - everybody was a cardboard cut-out And why didnt they collect Smiths CPU at the end

Zombie Apocalypse About as bad as you'd think

Quite a few of my workouts are supersets, or maybe lower or upper body exercises interspersed with cardio or HIIT. Sometimes I do just pure strength and I certainly get into the cardio zone doing that - if I work hard enough! I tend to do lower body one day then upper body the next, then core on day three, with upper and lower body on days 4 and 5. It isnt as basic as that though - there could be supersets, HIIT, EMOMs, AMRAPS, HIIT, Cardio or even total body. I will try and increase the HIIT period to 30 secs. The other issue I have is that my weights are in 3 pound increments (American) and I think this is a problem. I can do bicep curls with 12lb per hand, but I struggle to increase the weight as the next weight is 15lb which is a big jump in one hit. Love a jumping jack and squat jumps!

I dont hugely enjoy any of it - but I have been following FitnessBlender.com for some few years now I have a set of Power Blocks - heaviest is 24 pounds (11 kilos?) I ended up doing an cardio workout to increase endurance - something I struggle with. I can do HITT for 20 secs but not cardio for 40! I will find a workout for tomorrow and then start a new challenge on Monday

Finished the 4 week challenge. Ironically it was the last workout - flexibility and core that did a number on my neck and now turning my head is painful! oh well - on we go. What shall I do next?

He just needs to put the relevant personal details in. If he has no work experience, he can only really do a personal statement about how he is keen to learn, reliable, punctual and hard-working. There isnt much else to say Hope that helps

Thanks for the suggestions - some I have watched - Beck, Unfortgotten, and some not - will check them out. Have started another scandi noir - Those who kill ? but my goodness it is definitely noir - the screen is so dark I can sometimes barely make out who is there!
