Involves working with lots of different people inside and outside the uni with widely varying levels of tech knowledge. Wish I'd known about this site when I started!! 3

Theory Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Hi all, This is my first time ever using a forum, however this was recommended to me by my "mentor" so to speak, now I'd much rather stay anonymous in regards to my name so you just call me Theory. I mentioned a "mentor" being the person training me, I'm new to the, I guess "Professional" IT Scene, however I've always been pretty handy when it comes to anything technical. I'm currently doing a Level 2 NVQ and at the end of it I'll start my Level 3 NVQ. I guess that's just a brief little insight on what I'm doing - I'm doing my training in a Primary School which consists of the Main IT Tech, and myself in the IT Dept. Anyway, it's nice to meet you all.

Seriously though - I came up through the apprentice route and this site was invaluable, not only for technical questions but for 'how to handle certain situations' as well. People haven't got a clue who $Normal-name is in any case, but they learn your posting name and know who you are I answer to my posting name as well as my real name; they're interchangeable these days
