We use Papercut Hive, had a few teething issues but been fine for last year or so. We're full cloud based and no servers

Yes but! You need an AI port https://uk.store.ui.com/uk/en/category/physical-security-nvr/products/up-ai-port We had Dahua and UniFi running side by side, slowly removing Dahua for UniFi, brought the AI port to see how the Dahuas would work in Protect instead of buying new unifi cameras but wasnt worth it in the end.
-
Moving from Dahua to UniFI currently, They now support Alarm Centre so now have a 3rd party monitoring company keeping an eye also

Loved The Bone Temple, watching the number of the beast scene in the cinema was peak cinema for me

Cloud based backup, not used tapes for 10+ Years

Forgot to add: Worth noting a lot of manufacturers do 16 instead of 17 now due to the aspect ratio being 16:10 not 16:9
-
Not 17 but there is a HP Probook 4 G1i 16" that meets your specs or the HP 470 G10
-

Lenovo Android Tablets (as an iPad alternative, Intune managed)
DalekSec replied to Lolus's topic in Mobile Devices & Tablets
Looked to move to Android tablets, the feedback was ermmmm.... terrible, we used Lenovo Tabs cant remember what Gen Lots of the Apps are even not supported or just painfully slow Shelf life of the tablets is a lot lower along with build quality. -
Revisiting this, as my Mac has been repurposed again... All the points i raised last year seem to have been fixed, charging fine, no randomly freezing etc.. Day 2, happy so far will write if i get any more issues!

We buy ours refurb via BackMarket, onboard to ABM(ASM) via AC2 on a Mac, Warranty is the one we get via BackMarket
-
We have 2x Sky Streams and 3x Apple TVs Sky Streams only used to watch live tv, works flawlessly with UHD Sport on our 1Gbps connection. Tbf all our streaming boxes work as intended, all on Wireless (WiFi 6)
-
Mix of both here, mostly interchangeable nowadays unless you run really old software. Only issues we came across was certain software that doesnt make use of 4+ cores was better on Intel due to high clocks vs AMDs more threads.

I'm a Mac user, whats Publisher? (joking) Ditched it off moment i started at this company (4 years), you can always run a search for .pub files to find current heavy users and inform them.

The info it gives looks very useful, but my god that theme is awful! I use iStat menu on Mac

One of the greats, both as a musician and a human

Intune managed Macs accessing on prem resources with Kerberos
DalekSec replied to SYN-ACK's topic in Cloud Services
Being blunt time, If you have only just started to use Intune with Macs, STOP right now. and get a proper Mac MDM such as Mosyle. Intune is passable for iOS devices, but it is very limited when it comes to MacOS. -
