I'm looking at this now. We have "hybrid" exchange with no on prem exchange server switched on so I'm stuck with ADUC attribute editor/PowerShell. We have a similar setup & don't allow students to email staff DL groups. "msExchRequireAuthToSendTo" is also set to TRUE on all of our DL groups besides our main "[email protected]" group. This works spot on to only allow internal mail to those DL groups. Recently we have a parent find this all staff address somehow, and an email was sent about a students forgotten PE kit.. would like to put at stop to this to prevent any further emails. Issue is, I cannot set the "msExchRequireAuthToSendTo" attribute to TRUE, as this address is used to receive various reports from our MIS (cover, fire drill etc..). Wonder if it is possible to add in a AD contact, with our external MIS email address "[email protected]" listed as the email address, and add this user into the "dLMemSubmitPerms" attribute of the DL list? Has anyone ever done anything like this before?

HikVision here, with a few HiLook cameras (interior only). iVMS-4200 isn't brilliant for viewing, often buggy, but just about does the job..

No tapes here. We have 1 copy on a local NAS, 1 copy cloud based and a final copy on a weekly rotating HDD. This is only for on-prem data. Our 365 data is backed up using a synology nas with active365

I like it too. We converted a handful of our DFE laptops to ChromeOS Flex to use as shared devices. We are a Microsoft School - so we have them setup so that the student signs in with their Microsoft 365 login. Nice and easy!

@Bromcom_Alastair please could you clarify what exactly the Legacy SSO is? Is this separate from the Microsoft/Google SSO?

Are you using Applocker? I can recall a few years back when I was initially testing Win11, something on our Applocker was breaking something to do with the start menu/search... not very helpful as I cannot remember exactly what it was - but maybe worth checking event viewer if you do use Applocker?

Good practice, we leave 2 years. I think retention would prevent the teams from being deleted, depending on the retention length specified in the policy.

Shared iPads are a nightmare, much better suited as a 1:1 device

Groups module is pretty slow for us too
