Cannot wait for this one!

I'd imagine the 7th-gen Intel laptop chips in the 260 G3 minis would be feeling pretty sluggish by now. They're drastically underpowered as desktop chips, and this model won't have received a BIOS update for the 2023 Secure Boot certs, whereas one was released for the 400 G5 in March, I think. It's worth checking to see if that needs doing on the G5's.

Is it a particular model or across several? I'll ask our engineers if we've come across anything.

You absoutely have to be sure. We've had a few slip through the cracks, but we maintain links with the original orgs for just this situation. In all cases, we've been able to get them removed from their OG org in a few hours

That is a shame! If you still feel the temptation to make them, there's a host of decent Blood Raven style components on Cults3d you can download and print yourself. Shoulder pads, heads, weapons, icons ect. Stuff to give the vanilla marines some real character

I'd put good money on GW still expecting you to drop £500 on a Space Marine army once again. They'll just put the prices up on them to make up for the shortfall in purchases. Excited to see your Blood Ravens though. It's way beyond time they got the recognition on the tabletop that four RTS games have given them in media.

Smaller forces of superhuman marines seems to be the aim. Marines have always been more impressive in fiction than on the battlefield. But levelling them up does bring into question the purpose of Custodes. Do they get a similar bump and become a four-person force capable of single-handedly stopping a hive fleet?

Yeah, it's excellent. Each case takes up two episodes, which keeps the pacing nice: the setting, acting and writing are all good.

This is a lot of coats! I have a light waterproof, a big warm/waterproof ski jacket, a nice wool one I really only wear to Bett and a leather jacket for when I want to look super cool on a rare trip to the pub.

I picked up FFVII: Rebirth when it was on sale last week. So far, the £15 has been well worth it! It is gorgeous! The combat has a similar feel to Remake, but with notable enhancements. The open world is suitably vast and varied. The terrain interaction is a welcome feature, as Remake did feel like you were on rails to an extent. However, everything having physical properties means you can move things around, and your party does have a habit of walking into a nice area with lots of boxes of produce that they promptly send flying everywhere as they walk through it all! Still, it's great, and I'm enjoying it immensely.

Colour of Magic is not the best Discworld book to read first. Terry is still rather green at this point and spends much of the book explaining all of the rules of his newly fashioned world. It IS a good story, but better to return to it after reading several others, I feel. The city watch books are an excellent starting point to the series, as their characters crop up more and more throughout the other books.

He was an absolute master of his craft. Those later Discworld books, especially, should be taught in schools

I've no idea of the options they had available, but most of my paint schemes are pretty dank so I reckon the light shelves help, but i think more light is definitely needed.

Apparently, my hobby is cluttering up too much of the house, so the "kids" got me this rather fetching display cabinet to keep some of the better-painted minis from gathering dust and taking up valuable shelf space. Now I just need to work out how to get some lighting in there without taking up any space...

My only issue with Epic is that it's Heresy-era! I want to see modern 40k titans. Lets see what the can do with the Necrons, tyranids and hell, even Tau at that scale. And I worry that they would do the same with BFG. I know the core of Battlefleet Gothic is Abaddon vs the Imperium, but the other factions got a look in too. I'd love to Battlefleet: Cadia or something that told the story of the fall of Cadia but from the perspective of the fleet engagements that led to it. It would be a perfect sequel to BFG. As for man-o-war, I think the time is ripe. Old World has brought the classic warhammer world back into focus and it has been incredibly successful. Lets see more!

It's boats in the OG warhammer fantasy world! Tremendous fun and perfect for those wanting to do a narrative campaign with a map you can conquer!
