elsiegee40 Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 Hi all, I've had an account for a few months now but I've not posted as of yet (until now). My boss (@fiza) recommended I bookmark the site, and since then, I've been lurking and using these forums for whatever advice I can get! I'm currently in my first job in IT as an apprentice IT technician, 4 days at work and 1 day at college. I'm really liking it so far! Edugeek is an incredible resource for any technician, so thank you for providing all the answers! Hello and welcome to EduGeek 1
vikpaw Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 @DeGrimmy , welcome all. So, that @fiza .... Hmm You'll be providing answers to others pretty soon....

Wasn't a too bad experience! The beer is FAR better over here and if you buy cans of the stuff, you actually get money back, so a can of Becks (1/2 liter for example) can cost you about a pound. Popular Post Suroh Posted July 31, 2016 Popular Post Posted July 31, 2016 (edited) "Hi everybody" *que Doctor Nick* New to these forums, I don't currently work in IT or at a school but love the idea and have a passion for IT and all things computery (is that a word) I've joined mainly to gain an insight, also to learn how to get a job in IT and in education. As I see education as highly important and interesting field. IT wise I like messing around with computers inside and out, also tearing apart old consoles and fixing them. I've dabbled in coding, one day It'll click! I'm also quite good at the olde google search My brother is also a member this forum as @DalekSec so I'm told! Nice to meet u all Edited July 31, 2016 by Suroh 5

Scrumpy Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Morning all, I've been a lurker here previously (approx 10 years ago) when employed in the Education sector, but then went private sector and didn't visit the site much. Been back in education a little while and started visiting Edugeek regularly for support, so nice to be back and I thought I'd become an official Edugeeker (if only to enter Stocktober! ). Hope to help where I can and give a little back as this board has been a great help. I've certainly needed it! Cheers 3
