EliteCommander Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Hi, just joined, I'm Andy and I'm the IT Technician at a primary school on the London/Essex border, came here for advice as I used Spiceworks up until yesterday, but it now seems to be blocked, any LGfL users found the same thing ?
witch Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 @EliteCommander Welcome! Can you start a new thread with your problem? thanks 1
mr_anthony Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Hi I'm Anthony and I support two different schools. One is a small school district in Northeastern Bergen County New Jersey and the other is a small parochial school in Hudson County NJ near the Lincoln Tunnel. At my Bergen County job me and my technical coordinator (we are a department of two) support about 60-70 teachers meanwhile at my Hudson county job it is just me and one other new hire supporting 20-30 teachers.

vikpaw Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 to the fold @davidkinsella - your name rings a bell for some reason. We definitely have a few lurkers from Egypt, and a lot of members from the arab world, though usually they are quieter than the rest.
superteech Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Hi everyone! I'm an itcoord, KS2 teacher (don't shoot me) and general tech-fixer in a GLD SEN primary school in East Lancs. Kat/superteech 1
korifugi Posted May 19, 2017 Posted May 19, 2017 Hi everyone! I'm an itcoord, KS2 teacher (don't shoot me) and general tech-fixer in a GLD SEN primary school in East Lancs. Kat/superteech Welcome - we won't shout at you for teaching, honest. We're a friendly bunch usually going off topic with bad jokes but there is a wealth of tech-magic fixer-uppery here and someone will usually know how to fix anything that goes wrong. 1
mikeprice Posted May 19, 2017 Posted May 19, 2017 Welcome all especially @superteech - you are not the only teacher on here - but I try to keep it quiet!! Oh - and there is a friendly bunch of us in the North West - well - when I say friendly - I mean some are a bit weird - but we do meet up for a burger every term or so look out for Edubyte threads - one os for tomorrow - but it might be a bit short notice 1
Garacesh Posted May 19, 2017 Posted May 19, 2017 especially @superteech - you are not the only teacher on here - but I try to keep it quiet!! THEY'RE BANDING TOGETHER! Ruun! everybody! 1

I have to agree i feel i have learnt more in the 9 months working here then the years of school and college. Also my setup is nothings compared to yours XD hopefully going to build my own PC some point this year.
superteech Posted May 19, 2017 Posted May 19, 2017 Welcome - we won't shout at you for teaching, honest. Going OT and bad jokes sounds exactly up my street! Thanks for the welcome! TBH I bang my head on the desk frequently at the problems we have, I'm a tech disguised as a teacher 😉
