  1. 😂 next we'll be infiltrating your server rooms! Thanks for the welcome!
  2. Oh yes, I'd seen the meet up thread, and as for weirdos, I've already met AndyCat 😉 Thanks for the welcome, and congrats on coming out of the teachers supply closet 😂
  3. Going OT and bad jokes sounds exactly up my street! Thanks for the welcome! TBH I bang my head on the desk frequently at the problems we have, I'm a tech disguised as a teacher 😉
  4. Thanks for your reply, Matthew. Edge is a giant PITA for a lot of the online resources we use, so Chrome is forced as default anyway. I can't see SLT going for PaperCut without all avenues being explored in the current free solution first. Money is very tight, as it is in most schools, and I've seen massive cuts to my ICT budget over the past two years.
  5. Hi all, We've recently gone down the route of ID&Print in school, as our printing/toner/paper costs are phenomenal. This has been set up by Konica Minolta, from whom we lease the printers. When they have been in school, they've been understandably reluctant to do anything server-side. We've had a few teething problems with printing from Publisher, which seems to be now generally working, but users are still unable to print from Chrome (no option to input PIN comes on screen) or Photos in Windows 10 (jams up the print queue and has to be cleared on the server (running Server 2012). Chrome was jamming the queue too, we thought we'd fixed it with a script, but now it just doesn't do anything. Edge is not supported by ID&Print at all. I've suggested workarounds, which have limited success, but users and management are understandably getting frustrated. Does anyone have any experience with this particular print code system, and any advice please? Thanks for reading, Kat
  6. Hi everyone! I'm an itcoord, KS2 teacher (don't shoot me) and general tech-fixer in a GLD SEN primary school in East Lancs. Kat/superteech
