Spoke to our reseller today, plus another larger reseller. Both said the DfE didn't know any more than them about this (which is very little) and that they can't see a resolution in form of a buyout after speaking to distributors. ☹️

This would be massively helpful here please. We're just stuck in a mess of resignations and ipads at the moment quietly panicking about the wifi!

We're a new install so have support tickets open, but not had any responses since Friday on them.

We're having problems with Screens, and the only way we can get them reliable is to lower the refresh rate in Advanced Display settings. This seems to be a per user, per mode (ie have to do it for both extend and duplicate for each user). Does anyone know how to force that change every time someone logs on? Getting tedious!

We've had a parent funded iPad scheme for over a decade now, but I think it will soon end. The responsibility for off site filtering and monitoring will be the nail in the coffin. Nobody wants a Smoothwall phonecall at 2am for someone in a bedroom who should be under their parents supervision, not ours!

It's been reassuring for us too, as when I asked earlier in the year I only got a couple of replies so was a bit worried. Our install starts in a couple of weeks with Virtue, the cablers are in now.

No help to you at all really, but we're having Cambium AP's and some switching installed starting next week. The reseller's engineers have been very impressed with the training and product from Cambium, but we've yet to properly try it ourselves in anger.
