1. Mystery solved, someone had added some groups that hadn't been populated and it dragged students out of other groups.
2. Hello, I've set up lessons for alternative curriculum for some of my students, exported it back into SIMS from Nova. None of the students have been assigned to the curriculum yet, however some students marks are missing from their registers. Any ideas? Thanks
3. Hi Ed, This has been a great help. I've managed to get my data from the first step in your post. I've had a dabble with aspect analysis which seems to be what I'm after.... I'm looking for a way to generate the following block of data for each subject:-

Pupil Premium (Number of students) Pupil Premium (% at ARE) Non-PP (% at ARE) PP % Difference Girls (Number of students) Girls (% at ARE) Boys (Number of students) Boys (% at ARE) Gender difference % SEN (Number of students) SEN (% at ARE) Non-SEN (% at ARE) SEN % Difference CLA (Number of students) CLA (% at ARE) EAL (Number of students) EAL (% at ARE) Non-EAL (% at ARE) EAL % Difference Pupils at Mastery % % overall at ARE

Thanks in advance
4. Hello, I'm wondering if it's possible to import report data into POS Tracking Entry. All our report data is in Subject specific marksheets and I want to put it into the POS so I can use the summative analysis tools. Or is there a way I can get the KPI breakdown e.g. (% of PP at ARE or Above) for each subject from a marksheet? Many thanks
5. Hi Ed, Thanks for your reply. It seems that a column had been associated with a different aspect but had the same name in a different set of reports and this was throwing out the grid when it tried to calculate. All resolved now. Many thanks!
6. Small midi keyboards depend on your budget - Akai LPK25 is a decent little one for not a lot of money. MAudio keystation 32 is also decent. A sequencer is a nice place to start so you can record and arrange things. It allows you to layer up different parts and accompany yourself much in the same way as a loop pedal, but you can see what you've recorded and edit out any bum notes. Having a properly set up guitar is a must - what instrument are you using? When I first started playing - upgrading my instrument made the most difference to my playing. Best, Glyder
7. Hello all, New user finally signed up after reading lots of interesting and useful posts! So I can annoy everyone with silly questions and hopefully learn more.
8. Hello everyone, I've recently been tasked with managing assessments at my school and I've run into a small problem. I want to setup a tracking grid to see student's achieved grades at Autumn, Spring and Summer (to match out three reports per year). With tracking grid templates I've setup the marks pattern without a problem, I enter the result set pattern to match the reports for Autumn, Spring and Summer and when I try to populate it with a group I get this message: 'No results can be found to match these grid settings'. I'm sure the problem lies within result set elements, but I'm not really sure what I'm doing there. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks, Glyder
