ChrisH Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Looks like were not getting the major snow untill weekend typical
Sylv3r Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Before I left for work this morning they was a clip of the snow in Birmingham saying that the majority of schools were closed.... they was barely any snow in the shot. We had more here and we hardly had any and they was noway we would be closed. Don't think we have had a day off for snow in 3 years. The school is in a valley and very rarely gets any snow. I can go from my house to school in about 10 mins and go from about 5 inches of snow on my doorstep to a light covering but the time I get to work. More often then not its generally the bus company that ring the school up and say they cant make it rather then the school closing due to snow.
sidewinder Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Day off for me today, really nice surprise Dont think theres any chance of it being closed tomorrow though, all melted now
mortstar Posted February 8, 2007 Posted February 8, 2007 Most schools closed here in Coventry today, including mine 8) Got the call at 7:15am on the snow-chain. Balls to that "working from home" - stayed in bed til lunch time. Great to experience that student lifestyle again!
