    Working great deployed via InTune here. Saved our bacon last week... kid threw a fit and deleted his exam paper and emptied the recycle bin - he didn't know about the auto backup every minute saved to his local profile data.

    Our admin re-did the template and that worked. Wondering if there's something in the tempolate that the new version on Word doesn't like?

    When performing certain actions in SIMS, including logging out of SIMS, the SIMS screen shrinks and there's nothing you can do to restore it besides log out of SIMS and back in again. SIMS will maximise but the font won't enlarge. This happens on all of our laptops now, and all teachers only have laptops. It's fine on desktops, and fine if you plug your laptop into an external monitor. We noticed this over 3 years ago and Capita nor our LA SIMS support had any clue or suggestions to fix. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just us?

    I'm sure I've seen on Edugeek schools saying that they use some sort of online solution for creating portfolios of work. Currently our GCSE Photography pupils create large powerpoints with 4+ screen shots (using the Snipping Tool) per page and text details. These are unweildy and use a lot of space just creating the things. We'd really like to find a neater solution. Online sounds great as it will save jumping through hoops giving moderators access. Thanks

    I get "No records found for details provided." from all of the configured reports in the Safeguarding section too.

    Not used Smoothwall for years. Need some basic advice.. We need to monitor what one pupil is doing on the web. If I choose: Reports > User analysis > Complete user audit trail ...and select the whole of September and choose the username from the list.. the report says "No records found for details provided." I've re-run this against users that I know have had a lot of activity with the same result. What am I doing wrong?

    Our admin are saying that with Twitter and Facebook the parents have to log out of those apps and then they can log into SIMS with those credentials. Just wondering if that's the same issue ??

    So is she using a satellite version at home? (no direct SIMS server access?)

    I've known Nova to save in an alternate directory randomly. We have folders that were auto created for each year. When you open a file from Nova, the sbd's are listed in the pane below the main folder. I'd recommend jumping to a different year folder anyway to check.

    Funny that the spec for the new ICT course if you're going to use Premier is 16gb and the eDTech shopping list limits you to 8gb. Yes it's all named licences so users can install on their own devices as well if they can afford them. Luckily our LA have packaged it for us and it's worked well.

    If I put a 12 or 13 in that column those whole years lessons, apart from the single mixed lesson aren't sent to SIMS.

    Intresting thanks. The office don't like that you can only assign one level when there are AS and A levels being taught. That might make sense to them.

    I've done a silly thing and put "6" for the NCYear in Nova-T6, sent that to SIMS and now I can't send the timetable again with that corrected 😢 SIMS thinks "6" is Y6 of course, and not a class with Y12 & Y13 taught by the same teacher (this is a Derived Year in Nova). (I meant to put 6Art like I've done in previous years) Any idea how to fix this please? Thanks

    If you set a start date for the Cycle it will only apply after that date won't it??

    We showed the kid the true size of their work which at 1:1 was the size of the side of the building.

    In our case the scratch disk is stored in the user profile. Adobe CC needs a couple of Gb breathing space minimum, depending on the size of the image they're working on.

    On my Android recently I just signed into WhatsApp and everything was restored. No backup needed.
