Has anyone successfully deployed Adobe Creative Cloud packages, and if so how did you do it? I was initially hoping to create a package for Adobe DC only, one for Photoshop only and one for the whole suite to be deployed in different areas of the school using Group Policy. It quickly became apparent due to the size that we are just going to habve to instal the whole lot on our base image and reimage everything instead though. The problem is that we can't get a package created that works. Using the Adobe packager, Adobe DC looked to work, but fails to install with nothing in the Windows event logs or any of the Adobe logs inC:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Adobe. The Photoshop package worked but took 5 hours to create and 8 hours to install on my trial computer (Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 at 2.93 Ghx with 4GB RAM). I was installing it from a folder on the local disk. That's the point I gave up with individual packages and thought I'd just install everything on my base image. So far, creating a package that includes the whole suite has taken 34 hours and it's only 56% complete. I still have to install it and hope it actually works. Our computers all have 1GB connectivity from the edge to the core switches, so no issues there, and the internet speed is 100mbps. We do go through a proxy though, could this be the issue? Has anyone had more luck than us? Or can any point me in the direction of any useful logs? This seems like a massive step backwards from a good old DVD or ISO with the software on.

Originally when we deployed our Creative Cloud packages we chose the option for browser-based login, as we thought this would allow it to take advantage of the SSO capabilities we set up for our Windows users' web browsers. However we've since discovered that it caused more problems than it solves. Does anyone know if there's a way (e.g. a registry key or a config file) to switch back to Creative Cloud app based logins without having to redeploy the whole thing? As we've got it installed on 1000+ PCs, so don't really want to redeploy everything.

We have Adobe CC on an EEA agreement. We use the device licensing option under the Creative Cloud Desktop apps for Education, but on a new image we have built, after deployment the desktop apps are asking users to sign in. What is odd is that on an earlier image that the new one is an updated version of, it all works as you would expect. Nothing that was updated on the image has anything to do with Adobe, just windows security updates, latest java and some python modules. Any ideas?

Hi all, I'm working in a school that uses adobe CC and we're having an issue with a user. When they attempt to do something in photoshop, it comes up with a message saying "scratch disk full" - we operate an Active Directory based system, the user logs in with these credentials. The funny thing is, it follows them around on whatever PC they log in to. I have checked the space on the storage drive (as google suggested) and there is plenty of space for photoshop to use (at least 40GB). Any help is much appreciated as it's really bugging me 😂

Does anyone else have exams upcoming which are needing to use Adobe Creative Cloud? How do you handle the fact that it needs a login now?

Hello Guys, Really after some help / advice with deploying Adobe Creative cloud on a CC4 network. I have created the packages using the Adobe Creative Cloud Packager tool, and imported them into the RMMC. The software itself installs successfully on the machines, however it only seems to work for around 7 days running in trial mode, and doesn't automatically activate the licence. Some machines work fine, but others don't. Also, sometimes we are getting "Please uninstall and reinstall the product, error 16" when Students launch the Adobe Programs. I have rang RM this morning asking if they do an integration pack for Adobe Creative Cloud, just awaiting their response. Many Thanks James

The SWGFL have again changed settings on me after breaking the DES finance system and our Trend Heating system a few weeks ago. Now Adobe Lightroom isn't working. The program stalls for ages loading and cant access it's online resources. The SWGFL interface lists the PCs affected as not having any (relevant) sites blocked. I've allowed the adobe.com and some others but it still fails to load libraries. Anyone else run it to this?

Hi all, Has anyone been testing/deploying the new Adobe Creative Cloud Shared Device packages, essentially CC 2019. The .msi packages generated by the Adobe Enterprise site are pretty badly configured to say the least, appearance of unwanted desktop icons and auto launching CC login box to name but a few ... we've solved most of these issues by implementing a GPO to delete icons & registry settings, although it would be nice if we didn't have to do this in the first place. However, the biggest show stopper for us at the moment is the amount of per-user data some of the CC applications create upon initial launch and insist on storing in the roaming section of users profiles, C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\...\... this can be anything up to 1Gb of information just from initially launching the applications, not even using them. This is rather a lot of data to be dragging across the network during logon and will exceed the per-user storage quota we assign to our users, it's the kind of data other vendors redirect to a users home drive to avoid making the roaming profile bulky & slow. I've currently got a ticket open with Adobe who let slip that a number of Schools/FE/HE had been in touch reporting similar issues, which got me wondering, has anyone here experienced the same or similar issues? Any workarounds or fixes would be gratefully received! I'll update this thread as and when I hear from Adobe. Many thanks, Ben

Hello everyone, I'm trying to find out more with regard to Adobe Creative Cloud education licensing. Currently we're on an EEA agreement, which ends in August. Adobe have told us that this type of agreement is no longer available, so at the moment when we renew we are looking at a drastically massive scaling-back of our use of Adobe software to just 420 devices (300 Macs, 120 PCs). Since we can't reduce the availability of the software in teaching/classroom areas, at the moment it looks like what it means is that open access areas such as the LRC will have to take a hit and have only a few computers with the software installed instead of all of them, limiting the ability of students on courses that use it to be able to do independent learning outside of the classroom. When we were renewing last year, there was an Eduserv ETLA agreement available as well as the EEA, but we chose the EEA because the ETLA was more expensive and provided features that we had no need for. Now that the EEA is being pulled out from under us, we can't get onto the Eduserv ETLA because it's a fixed term 3 year agreement which is now closed. We scheduled a meeting with Adobe representatives at BETT 2017 this year, at which we expressed our case quite firmly, but there was little to no movement in Adobe's position. My question is this: is there another, non-Eduserv ETLA consolidated purchasing provider whom we could use to get onto ETLA, which according to this page is licensed by FTE count? Failing that, what alternatives to Adobe software do other organisations use? In particular we use Adobe Acrobat Pro DC quite widely across the college for PDF editing, what other PDF editor could we purchase instead? EDIT: to clarify, we're interested in the software only, not the cloud services. Home Use Rights would be a nice-to-have but are not essential. Our FTE number is somewhere between 140 and 180 depending on how it is calculated. Under the proposed new per-device licensing scheme that we're currently looking at having to use, 420 devices is the maximum we can afford. We're a sixth form college located in Cambridge, England, with around 2200 students and around 1200 computers total.

This was called Adobe Spark. It seems quite long winded to set it up with Office 365 (Azure) is it worth it? We already have a photo and video editors on line that were happy with... but it's free.....

Hi all, anyone here deploying Creative Cloud via Intune how are you going about the updating side of things. Currently got it for students to download and install through Company Portal although as soon as they launch it Creative Cloud wants to update but says Update Failed, another installer is already running. Even when closing down all other Creative Cloud instances it isnt working? Anyone had this or any ideas of installing? Tried to add it MS Store version via Graph but that was no joy.

Hi, can anyone please shed light on this? I have tried so many different solutions on the adobe forums on this issue, but no to avail. This happens for any CC app, packaged individually or as a bunch. I download the apps using the Creative Cloud Packager using the school's enterprise key, and then install it onto a client's PC - freshly imaged. It works for the first few runs, but after a while it reverts back to the Trial version. This is indicated by the Sign-In box which appears, where the splash screen normally appears when you launch the app. I have tried various solutions, such a removing the Slcache folder, giving full access to the Adobe program files, and using various user accounts of different access rights. Does anybody know how licensing works?

Hi all, I've been getting some expressions of concern re: the use of Creative Cloud to store data, particularly student work. They're not one of the suppliers listed on the DfE guidance doc, which was my first port of call. Has anyone else been through this w/ their SLT before as regards Adobe? Did you decide Adobe was a safe provider, and if so what justification did you use to sell it to senior leaders?
