Hello! One of my Adobe issues were sorted by the wonderful users of EduGeek so I am wondering if you can help again! We have hard quotas on our students where they have a set amount of storage on their account, and this gets full quickly because of Adobe's appdata on their mapped drive filling up quickly. We don't want to necessarily map this to the C drive, because eventually that will fill up with appdata too so we will be hit with the same problem. Is there anything we can do to contain this or get around it?

We have Adobe CC on an EEA agreement. We use the device licensing option under the Creative Cloud Desktop apps for Education, but on a new image we have built, after deployment the desktop apps are asking users to sign in. What is odd is that on an earlier image that the new one is an updated version of, it all works as you would expect. Nothing that was updated on the image has anything to do with Adobe, just windows security updates, latest java and some python modules. Any ideas?

Hi , I have been having a really odd issue since the start of December that I am starting to go mad over! So we have recently started to dip our toes in MECM to move away from MDT as it is phased out my Microsoft and I have manged to deploy a full Win 11 student image with software on no problems. However when I moved it into the correct OU needed that pushes out other software packages via GPO that we didn't want on MECM, Adobe CC would not install at all. When it failed it would still show on the booting screen saying "installing adobe cc" but it didn't hang for long and didn't actually install. When checking the program files there would be a root adobe folder, with a Creative Cloud folder inside, but then nothing else installed. After hours and hours of testing I found that if I removed the GPO that deployed AB Tutor , adobe CC does install ok. From what I can tell this issue never happened on Win 10. Going to keep testing with a new Win 10 image to try figure it out, but has anyone had a similar issue with CC installs on Win 11 via GPO, or noticed any clashes with ab Tutor with CC? Thanks

Good Morning IT Friends, I have deployed Adobe CC to my school network and everything seemed to be working correctly. unfortunately this is not the case . It seems that After Effects will not open for the students, if I run it as an administrator it loads fine. I have used Procmon on the PC as i think it may be a folder permissions issue but up until this point I have had no luck. Has anyone come across this problem before and if so how did you fix it. Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi you're my only hope.

Morning Everyone Disclaimer I despise Adobe! Now that's out of the way lets get to the problem. We have Adobe Creative Cloud 2017 installed on a couple of old iMacs running Windows. Its all licenced and activated (normally a headache in its own right) but I have issue with certain preferences that need to be set for each student using the computer. Use legacy new file interface need to be checked else when they click open noting loads. Windows > Workspace > Reset is also required on a couple of occasions as JPEG files wont load. Can i use GPP to push out these settings? I've looked online but cant see a way to set the settings required. Any help would be great.

Hello, Does anyone happen to have a script that can be ran, either scheduled from a PC or otherwise that will remove Adobe appdata from student's profiles (C Drive specifically)? We currently route our appdata to a students C drive at the moment because if we try to do it to their network drive instead, Adobe really doesn't like it and Dreamweaver/Photoshop start crashing heavily. It doesn't seem to crash much at all if we route it to the C drive of the user instead. I mean, if anyone has any possible solutions where we can route it back to their network drive and not have Adobe crash every 5 minutes, I would happily hear them out too! I am obviously cautious that they will eventually fill up the C Drive and will start having issues loading or being used. Thanks everyone!

Hi Everyone The previous thread on this seems dead now and I've had no luck messaging those who were part of it, so I was hoping I could inject some new life into this with a new thread. Basically I'm trying to get Lightroom to work on a network drive. There's a way to trick it into accepting a network drive by running the subst command, which has worked successfully, however I'm left with two other problems 1. Name of the drive. It is set as "Disconnected Network Drive" and I've followed the instructions on the old thread...to no avail. This is simply so that the students can click on a drive that doesn't have an out of place name. 2. Automatic pointing to drive. You have to manually point Lightroom to the location, which would be a logistical nightmare on our end. Would there be a reg file or similar that would point Lightroom to our desired location? I've played around with the preferences file but haven't found anything worth while that I could use. Any of you had success in these areas?

Hello, We have Adobe Creative Cloud across our IT suites in our Secondary school. One of our biggest issues is that CC requires a login for the user to be able to use the software. All required students are on the console from my side (Adobe Admin Console). The issue that we have with this is that it almost always asks for a verification code. We have Y7,8 etc that still haven't grasped the concept of things like verifications codes and emails etc so a lot of time is being lost in our lessons due to Adobe setup. Is there any way around this at all? I know that there may not be given that Adobe do their licencing via cloud verification now, but I thought I would ask!
