  1. Hi all, I seem to think a while ago someone promoted a website which can take the hassle of selling tickets for events online??? Anyone got any suggestions for services or sites you use for this? I am ideally looking for a service which I can customise a welcome page and sell tickets with some sort of management end..... Thanks in advance.
  2. Awesome! Now I can stop trying to figure it out with endless google searches Thanks FN-GM
  3. This may seem very vague but I can remember some school using a very easy papckage that sits on their exchange server to manage very nice graphical signatures for users. I can remember that the package in question was free but had a watermark or text on the bottom of the signatures unless you paid! Sorry if this seems very vague but I am struggling to find what it was! Any ideas??
  4. We use these for certificates : Exchange Outlook Web Access ePortal (MIS) SGD (Sun Secure Global Desktop) Peele.biz (Fundraising website)
  5. We are finalising our IT revamp, and we are moving across to a Sun server / SunRay solution. For our terminal servers we currently have 2003 but can anyone advise as to any justification for rolling to 2008? Info from someone running 2008 terminal server would be of great use! Thanks
  6. Thanks for that Nick. Would it be possible to see a copy of this policy so that we can gather some ideas to create our own? Promise not to steal it!
  7. Hi all, Just wanted to ask what (if any) software policies you have in place? Currently we do not have one but I am looking to implement one, to give the Tech Support department the sole right to refuse the installation of requested software based on technical reasons. If you are willing to share yours (if you use one), then I would be very grateful!
  8. Hi all, We are trying to get fog up and running on our network. FOG installed really well on our ubuntu box and all was well. The only trouble we seem to have is with the pxe boot side of things. Options 66 &67 are set within our DHCP server but still nothing Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is driving us bonkers!

    Secure Erase

Can you use this one without the need to boot? Would like something I can just run from a Windows workstation.

    Secure Erase

I've got 2 external HD's that I need to wipe, but I would like a more secure way than using the standard windows format. Does anyone currently use any software to do this? ( Preferably free )
  12. We use : iconPot - totally free icons
  13. I use TeamViewer quite a lot for personal use and I would highly recommend it!
  14. We use ePortal here. I haven't read the BECTA guidelines on 2 factor authentication, does anyone currently do it? If so what does BECTA state about its use?
  15. Unfortunately our County hosting uses Windows and they will not allow the Guest account to have write access to any part due to security.
