Hello. We've been having some trouble with a printer driver and wondered if there's anyone here who could write a script that would: 1- Stop the printer spool service 2- Remove a set of .dll files 3- Start the print spool service It must be simple to do this? It would need to be able to run at login using GPO and AD.

I must add after creating this registry setting it switched OFF the current proxy settings check box in the ie settings on machines that were working fine... Is this anything to do with the 'replace' option in the registry GPO?

Hello, We've not upgraded for a bit and now we need to it's proving complicated! We want to upgrade to Snow Leopard on our Macbooks so we can install Mavericks however the licensing issues are proving to be a bit confusing. I don't seem to be able to find a license for Education that allows the OS to be installed on more than one computer. We only have two! Where can we buy it? How can this process be made simpler?!

Hello, I've experienced this before but can't remember why it happens. We have a laptop here in school and the audio is terrible through the speaker system. Plug it into the amp and the volume is very low but when you turn it up you can hear the sound of what sounds like a Spectrum 48K loading a game! Every time you move the mouse- it makes a zzzrzrzrz sound. If you jiggle the jack output it can get a little louder but still awful. Any ideas?! The laptop is a Toshiba.

Hi, We have some iPods and an iPad in school and it won't let me update the iOS. It keeps saying 'Unable to verify update. iOS 7.0.3 failed verification because you are no longer connected to the internet.' There's no issue downloading apps, going on online or anything else. Just happens when trying to update the iOS... anyone know why??

I wonder if it's anything to do with VEVO? I suspected it might be a different URL. I've added youtu.be too but it's made no difference

We have our proxy via lancsngfl so i'll get in touch and see what's going on. Maybe they'll have a solution? Unless YouTube has decided to change the way it streams video...

Hello, The staff at our school use Youtube as a great teaching resource however suddenly when you try to play any video it says 'an error occurred, please try gain later'. It's happening on random machines. I have tried clearing cookies, cache etc... to no avail. Updated Flash player and java to no avail. Anyone know why it's doing this?

***SOLVED*** Turned out the computer i tested the batch script on was still running something and using a file from the folder. Closed the machine down and managed to be able to delete the folder. Don't know why it added a random user but at least it's gone now!!
