  1. Ok... i am REALLY struggling to find a simple solution to this problem. Our school have just purchased 32 of these great cameras but we are stuggling to find any software, preferably free, that we can use to edit the MP4 footage. Surely there is SOMETHING out there that I can deploy right across the network so the kids can film, plug in the camera, import the footage and just start editing... SURELY?! Can anyone help??
  2. Are ISIS normally quite quick on the response side if things? I emailed them a couple of days ago now and as yet not heard anything...
  3. Could you tell me where you got your USB hub from please? It would be a great help x

  6. Hi everyone, We've just bought 32 Mino Flips with re-chargeable battery packs for them. You charge them via the usb ports on a computer but i wondered if anybody knew of a reputable usb hub, preferably no less than 7 ports, that we could use to charge them without the need for a pc? There's gotta be something... Jay xxx
  7. Hi there, We have some public community PC's in our school ( Nelson, Lancashire) and I wondered if anyone could recommend some good company who provide security enclosures that includes a survey and fitting of the equipment? The current set up we have is so secure that not even I can get in to fix the computers!! They scrape the skin off my arms...so i don't touch them for obvious reasons. Not good when they break down you see... Any help is appreciated! Much Love Jay xxx
  8. Thanks for that Steve! How do I set it up as a member server? Will I find that somewhere on our current server in DNS or something? Thanks so much for the advice by the way! Jay xxx
  9. I'm not too sure what a NAS is? We've got about 100 users and around 100 computers at the moment on our network but i've put some nice open-source multiplayer games on the school server. I'm not too keen on running them from there too much though due to hogging server resources! I think we need 2 servers somehow... Jay xxx
  10. I would probably recommend Adobe InDesign but it has a steep learning curve... Well worth learning though. There's although Microsoft Publisher if you want to go all Microsoft.
  11. Hello! This is my first post on here so i will say 'HELLO!' :D I wondered if anyone knew the best way- i.e. a step-by-step guide almost- on setting up two servers in our school. One for the normal network, file sharing etc... and the other for software and games? *We already have a server set up with a domain using Active Directory and DHCP ALL help is appreciated! Jay xxx
