Hi everyone, We've just bought 32 Mino Flips with re-chargeable battery packs for them. You charge them via the usb ports on a computer but i wondered if anybody knew of a reputable usb hub, preferably no less than 7 ports, that we could use to charge them without the need for a pc? There's gotta be something... Jay xxx

Hi, I've rolled out SOLUS 3 to a misbehaving workstation again but I see a red agent in the system tray and it is reporting that SOLUS agent is currently unable to connect to the deployment server. It's asking me to clarify the server and port which are pre-populated with localhost and 52965. Is there anywhere I can check what these values should be, assuming they're wrong? Thanks in anticipation of any assistance, Paul.

Hi guys, I've hit a brick wall.. can't get around this and haven't found much on the web. N:\>portqry -n 10.147.154.57 -p tcp -e 8080 Querying target system called: 10.147.154.57 Attempting to resolve IP address to a name... IP address resolved to helpdesk TCP port 8080 (unknown service): FILTERED Need to change the FILTERED to LISTENING. I have followed How to configure TCP/IP Filtering in Windows Server 2003 without any success, it's still displaying FILTERED. This is a Windows 2003 with RM CC4 installed. Any ideas? Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee!! Thank you Paul

Hi everyone, Since we migrated our network from XP to Windows 7 a few years ago, we have noticed a problem with our printer ports. When sharing a printer from one Windows 7 computer to another computer, also running Windows 7, we are able to connect the printer using a Local Port, in the format \\computer_name\printer_name This works until the computer is restarted, or more specifically, until the print spooler service is restarted. The printer stops working. Upon closer inspection, when we check which port the client computer is using for the printer, the port has disappeared. When we try to re-enter the port, we're told that the port already exists, even though it isn't listed. When we look at the registry, we find that the port exists in there, but for whatever reason, isn't listed in the ports GUI for the printer. If we remove the port from the registry, we can re-enter it in the GUI, but it disappears again when the print spooler service is restarted. Has anyone else had this issue, and has anyone been able to resolve it? Thanks in advance, Tony.

Hi All A stab in the dark here. I have about 5% of machines that are trying to query WSUS on port 8350 instead of 8351 when trying to deploy updates using sccm. There is no group policy in place and I have deleted the local gp. Whenever SCCM recreates the local GP it still reverts to 8350. These are totally random machine in various org units and other machines in the same org's are fine. I removed the sccm client, reinstalled , queried GP and cannot for the life of me find the issue. Any ideas? Thanks GK

Hello, I am looking for a laptop to use with the AV setup in our hall. The main problem I've come across is noone seems to make laptops with VGA connectors that have the holes to screw the plug into. This is quite a small issue for most laptop users, which means that they don't put it as part of the spec, so I have been searching around, and squinting at product photos to see if I can tell. Has anyone bought a laptop recently which has screws on the VGA connector? Oh, and does anyone know why on earth manufactures have stopped putting them on, seems ridiculous to me. Thanks, David

We are having a problem with our printer port disappearing somehow. We have no idea how or when it happens. So the question is: Is there a log file or a place in win 7 that logs what a printer port is doing.
