Appreciate your reply. I seem to have been ablke to disable the setting for the mapped drive I was concerned about (it's huge) by resetting the offline files database by creating a FormatDatabase registry entry.

Mapped drives are set for our users by a script. For teaching staff it appears that two of those mapped drives are set to "always be available offline" but others (up to four for teaching users) are not. I thought this might be controlled by a Group Policy but can't see anywhere that individual mapped drives are controlled in such a way. Can anyone tell me where I can look, if there is a way to identify which GPOs might be responsible or how else they might be controlled like this? Thanks, Paul.

Our Safeguard server has been decommissioned by our support service. I have a user who cannot access information on her memory stick; it's requesting a password to do so. For a different reason we have reimaged her laptop, which probably hasn't helped... I have reinstalled Sophos Safeguard ontot he laptop, selecting to install Data Exchange but not Full Disk Encryption (assuming that was for the machine's hard drive), Cloud Storage or File Encryption. I was hoping this would allow me to see the option "change media passphrase" which I could use to reset the passphrase for external devices but I can't see that option listed from the system tray icon. Do I need to install another element to see that option? We have normally in the past install the Full Disk Encryption but are not encrypting drives any longer, hence the decision not to use the server itself... unfortunately our support service were a bit too keen to decommission it but are not responding to our queries about recommmissioning it or otherwise asssisting... Any assistance or suggestions gratefully received. Paul.

I have changed the name and e-mail addresses in AD of a user who has got married; I think I've gotten everything in Attribute Editor (including msExchShadowProxyAddresses). The old e-mail address still shows at the top of Outlook 2016 and at the top of the folders on the left hand side. How can I get that changed to the new e-mail address or text of my choice? I will check that but I think it's affecting more than one user and is affecting users recently who have been able to make appointments without problems before a couple of weeks ago. Thanks, though. :-)

We use Office 365 to run our e-mails. Though we do have on-site AD any resources are set up in Office 365. In the past couple of weeks we have seen previously reliable resources declining meeting requests reporting: This resource can only be scheduled during the working hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday I have used the Get-MailboxRegionalConfiguration command in Powershell to ascertain that, of the five such resources we have, only one had a time zone set. That resource "behaves" but so does another without a time zone set. I used Set-MailboxRegionalConfiguration to set a time zone for one of the mailboxes but this had no effect on being able to book the resource. I'd be interested in knowing if anyone else has seen the start of similar behaviour and, of course, whether anyone has any ideas that can help. Could it be the DateFormat or TimeFormat as shown in Get-MailboxRegionalConfiguration. Why would it be that these, or one of these, entries which are currently blank, would have started to cause problems recently? I have disabled "Allow scheduling only during work hours" within the settings of each resource as a workaround. Thanks for reading, Paul.

Thanks jd. We deploy with Print Management and group policy, not a script; that might be "old-fashioned" nowadays, I don't know. I'm guessing that the printer isn't removed that way, just added if it isn't there.

Thanks Dave. It's the last point we seem to be having a problem with. Users are changing to print in colour and the settings are staying that way for future prints. I'm sure I'll figure something out. Thanks again. Paul.

We have a printer shared via Group Policy and Print Management. To save money management wish the default settings to print in black and white. Users can change to colour output if they wish to. If they do change to print in colour, should the settings be reset to default (black and white) at any time? When the group policy is applied at login, for example?

Does anyone know what urls are used by the BBC Sports app? It seems to be blocked by RM Safetynet and I want to unblock it... Thanks.

We're trying to deploy a Windows 7 image to a new HP Prodesk 400 g3 using MDT 2012 / Deployment Workbench. The machine PXE boots OK and rolls out the wim but the keyboard and mouse are not operational to select any options. I've tried injecting usb drivers and have tried to use the drivers created by the Windows 7* USB 3.0 Creator Utility - no good. Any assistance / thoughts would be gratefully received.
