Installed 365 easily enough as its similar to 2021 but just found out A1 licences don't allow shared computers, only A3 and above.. This is straying from the original query but thought it was something mention.

I've just been looking at Office 2021 as we are all on 2019. I believe it's being rebranded as Microsoft 365 this year, is it the same deployment process?

Sorry to drag up an old thread. We need a dummy pupil user in SIMS. We have created it but its not showing on the portal we are testing. I saw above someone said about don't include in census, where is this option please?

We've just had Cambium installed too, not sure if same model or higher. Had no complaints so far, does class full of laptops with ease. Guest wifi works well. The only thing I've seen is older laptops (hp elitebook 840 g1, Dell latitude E5450) struggle to connect to it if also using wifi-direct/searching for printers, so there must be a driver or cambium issue somewhere but we seldom use those laptops now so I've not looked into it proper.

They're blaming it on a network configuration change and have now rolled it back. Must have been some change.

Hi all I wanted to setup a Google Space within Google Chat which have our Workspace Classroom teachers group added. It seems I cannot add members of a group (I can add a group but it doesnt add the members), only individual people. Is this correct? Fortunately this is only a fallback/test but it seems a bit crazy I cannot mass add people into a Google Space/Chat as admin. Can anyone shine a light? I'm going about this all wrong? Also is there no mass deploy app like Teams for Google Chat? I know as an individual I can log into Google Chat and it will offer a standalone app, but is there nothing I can force install as an extension etc? Thanks!

How will you be doing the update? If you are installing Windows 10 22H2 from scratch, it'll hold all previous updates.

Not with 22H2 but specifically with .net 4.8.1. If you do a fresh install of 22H2, 4.8.1 is included by default and the current Impero version at that time stopped working. However if you do an in place update to 22H2, you retain your current .net version. Impero released a new version to cope with the .net 4.8.1 change. Did you do any updates that brought .net up to 4.8.1?

My sons school use parentapps. Its ok, not the prettiest app in the world but seems to do the job I guess.

Ours is currently $525 (£427) for each product. Still value for money I think as it fulfils our inventory and deployment needs.

Our marketing team spent a lot of money on someone who wasn't a web designer by trade just to get a wordpress site with a few add ons. I'm currently looking after the site, maintaining it, adding content after the guy in admin left and it was left to rot. I could do with looking at some of these options above to get it redesigned. I'm happy enough maintaining, adding stuff but haven't the time for a full redesign. Wonder if i'll get a budget...

If you are installing via MDT, it skips the proper TPM check.

Try PDQ deploy, the free version should work fine. Grab the latest VLC installer and use the parameter /S so the command line (this is how mine looks) is vlc-3.0.18-win64.exe /S You can also uninstall the old one first (this example is the 32bit version) using a CMD step of "C:\Program Files (x86)\VideoLAN\VLC\uninstall.exe" /S If I deploy this, it never shows the user anything.

There's no real newsworthy features added but having the latest build means applying less updates on install and also it kicks the support dates down the road.

I block them successfully using those urls in the post in both edge and chrome so im not sure why yours isn't working. Is the policy being applied?

Quick question for Canva users... so when someone logs in now with their Google account, do they all get put into one big class on Canva? or can they be separated out?

I have mine running on an HP 800 G1 USFF. 8gb ram, standard 512gb SSD. Both apps load under 10 seconds.

How are you authenticating users? through google workspace or something else?

I have deployed 22H2 out in a similar way to you (WIMWITCH, MDT) and to date I've not seen any issues. That's on HP Elitebook 840s, HP Probook 440 G7s, HP 255 G7 and then some desktops including HP 800 G4s. I used 10.0.19045.2130. Like you say, could it have just been a corrupted WIM?
