Yeah it's specifically .net 4.8.1 that is the issue. If you can update Windows 11 (such as install 21H2 and run security updates without the 22h2 feature update) then you'll be fine for now but the ISO for 22H2 has 4.8.1 embedded. Fortunately Windows 10 22H2 didn't come with the .net 4.8.1 update.

Yeah we are the same where they seem to be taking a week at a time to reply to emails and getting nowhere. We're at the stage where we're waiting for the SSO login to appear.. they did it two weeks ago apparently.

I found doing in place upgrades to 21H2 did some weird stuff like this and affected our Office licencing too where Word would only open as admin. A full reimage was required. Hopefully someone can shed light on if they managed to restore functionality without reimaging.

What drivers did you import? I generally only use audio, network and graphics. If you imported anything such as intel storage drivers it throws wobblers such as above.

I think Chris Pratt will be fine and there will be sections of charles martinet throughout. I think the video game voice would become annoying after a solid 90 minutes.

I've done the VM thing before of keeping one VM, update, save, capture etc but I find it corrupts after a while. Now I just do a fresh image every year, customise the wim using wimwitch, add to WDS, boot using MDT, install the couple of bits I want embedded, capture then PDQ installs the rest when I image a machine.

The one in Blackpool is good however not as big as Bury. The Bury one I found to be really busy and a bit cramped when I went. Blackpool feels a bit more laid back.

Replacement keys are the bane of my life. We have 100+ HP 255 G7s here and even though its the same model, they have two different key grips so you can't mix and match between the two. The ones I need to replace are ALWAYS not the same type I have spare.

We had a mix of HP and Dynabook and they have faired well except pupils took them and never brought them back! Still 45 outstanding from last year...

Yeah the only disappointment really were the older cabinets. Some of them had buttons missing, or simply weren't working properly so that was a shame. I only went on the Sunday so they would have been used and abused by many by then..

Our condenser dryer is only an on/off. Its a bog standard Indesit thing which is not economical at all. I understand heat pump dryers arent the greatest. A lot of people complain that clothes feel slightly damp still. However I have the money to spend upto £450 on a dryer and I'm wondering if its worth it. Hmm...

Has anyone got a heat pump tumble dryer? Have you made any cost savings on the electric?

Our Impero doesn't like the new version. It might because I customised the WIM before I imaged a machine but hmm not a good start. Trying a fresh untouched install now....... which Impero doesn't like either. Hmm.

Hi all We have a new finance person coming in and they want a different way of letting external people book School facilities. Currently it's either an email to someone or telephone School. Ideally they/we are wanting something we can integrate with our website and a bit more automated. It must also be able to take payments. We've used reservio in the past and it was ok but lacked much integration. I've also looked at Microsoft Bookings which does all except take payment. So... how do you do it?
