YES! This seems to install on the 64bit version just fine. Unfortunately just like Cortana it can't seem to connect to the azure speech service. I need to know what I have to unblock on the swgfl too allow this service.

Ok, so using the power of Microsoft Speech Recognition services, Office 365s word, PowerPoint and outlook have this new dictate feature... Not Office 2019 Also "onenote windows 10" pllllp. The onenote requires a Microsoft account This is quite annoying as I was hoping to use this for some of our SEN pupils. I'm thinking that I'm not allowed to install o365 on the school PCs as although the pupils have their licence it doesn't cover this use case. so plop.

I've a need for Cortana voice search to work, I can't get it to work however. The store and store apps connect just fine through the proxy (swgfl). I've even (for testing) allowed all of .Microsoft.com, .mic.com and bing.com. but this didn't help. Has anyone run wireshark on cortana and know where she goes when you do a voice query? I have a need for the note dictation feature. (better than built in speech to text)

I used to put almost all of my budget through MISCO, but they got funny about the WD hard drives (when they had the failure issues) They made me ring WD wait and hour run a test on phone support before they'd accept a return. After that I never bought a thing from them. They lost a £20k per annum customer over a £100 fing hard disk.

I'd double the VMs RAM and the next day the drive was back to half, with 4TB of dedupe savings. Uncompressed backups for the win! (The RAM was set to 4GB far too small for a volume this large)

I'd been forced to roll out Windows 10 before I was ready. (scratch issues) I've agreed to roll it out to just one room as a live test, this has actually gone very well with no issues. Just 1809 edu and office 2019 install.. it only occurred to me today (3 days after deployment) that I'd not shown anyone how to logout of Windows 10. I think anyone would agree who not used it that it is NOT intuitive. I spied on some pupils today to see how they were coping, it seems they've taken to pressing ctrl+alt+del and choose sign out! Some pupils resort to shutting the PC down in order to logout. I didn't see anyone click on the tiny faint outline of a blank avatar. I love that M$ have made the logout so un-intuitive that users resorted to the secure desktop to sign out

Argh, my backup drive has filled! usually sits at around 4tB but has somehow gone to 7tb and is now out of space. I think the dedupe has stopped functioning. My problem is that there is no obvious issue. I tried to manually start a de-dupe job but it remains queued.. The data is too large too move and I can't just delete it and make a new one. I've rebooted, stopped the service and restarted but it just sits like a lemon permanently queued. How do I un-pickle this issue?

When you start the game you have to login, I'm guessing you'd have to go the false user accounts route. The accounts are $5 in the US I was wondering if they were £3.33 or something over here. of if you can get a site licence.

I was on the understanding that the Minecraft Licence was assigned to an O365 account. I'm unaware that it could be linked to a PC? I know it's possible to deploy the installer using PowerShell to PCs avoiding the store. How much did you pay?

I use 4 methods to add the same printer as I was always getting the odd PC not map a printer. I first have a COMPUTER policy with loopback gpo applied, I then add "user policy":have 2 scripts 1 in vbs and one in powershell, I use the old printer connections method, then finally a preference. These four all adding the same printer seem to have got me 100% printer adds. I did also toy with the idea of creating shortcuts to the printers (if you click a printer on a network share the PC will map it)

This is a new issue for me, I've started making a new 1809 image and the document redirection isn't working? This only affects the "documents" redirect?! The download, pics, all redirect fine... here is the error.. The user is Joe Bloggs, a test user, this user has no issues using the same GPO on Windows 8.1? I've checked that the GPO itself has authenticated users! I'm getting this issue with my other test users as well. Ideas?

I wanted to view the youtube video embedded by @MrMat and I get the usual "error url cannot be retrieved" the swgfl problem filtering. I'm using the staffproxy but embedded youtube always fails. How do other RM filtered people get around this? Can edugeek in future provide a url as well for us RM peasants? All I get is the youtube no cookie link to nowhere

I know I ran into this error recently when I installed win10 using the media creator, it of course didn't put a KMS client key on the PC...Durr. Took me an hour to figure that out. Just a sanity check, the clients have KMS keys installed? as above use cscript slmgr.vbs /dvl and /ato to show the client key and request activation on the client. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/get-started/kmsclientkeys get your kms keys here..

use msi afterburner to see graphics speeds overclock and tweak fan curves. it also installs rivatuner for fps overlays, frame limiting and it can capture. (can use quicksync, which is nice) it'll work with any card.

Tell your Aerohive rep that you plan to move over to ubiquity if they don't come up with a competitive price.
