    I saw this conclusion for a HDMI cable. if this is how they review a digital cable then how skewed are the other reviews, or how full of nonsense?

    They do exist they hang like a projector from the celling. motorised mirrors for moving and a lamp to illuminate stuff. You can network them so it's a nice no clutter approach. I saw some on ebay a while ago, they looked pretty cool. Expensive though..     go to the teams admin page, go to dashboard and use the quick setup. Apply teacher policy to teacher accounts and pupil policy to pupil account. if you're using SDS have SDS create the teacher and pupil security groups.

    The digital activity is an hour slow, any idea how to fix this? Outlook 365 calendar is set to UTC - London. Local PC time zone is the same.

    2 or 3 laptops each running a meeting, give a link to all 3. I have no idea if that'd work..

    see if the the user your logged in as doesn't have the correct permissions or maybe is locked or has an out of date password.

    you can set domains to proxy (or not) on the direct access server, go through the wizard again and add some exceptions. (it been ages sorry not specific) I can't even remember the terminology used. but you can state if DA is used for certain domains. I remember sorting out a lot of issues by distributing the WPAD proxy.pac via DHCP instead of DNS.

    if you were able to flash the bios (even using flashback) then the CPU, RAM and GFX are all good. Dumb stuff now like removing the board from the case to ensure there isn't something shorted, also disconnect the front panel connections and fans in case they're grounded or shorted. I've seen an issue where a case had slightly different standoff mounts for the mobo which twisted the board enough to kill it. I've seen the wrong way round CPU bracket (underside) short stuff around the CPU. oh and standoffs installed where they shouldn't and touch the mobo. in short (boom boom) it's worth taking the mobo out of the case.

    I see these all the time, it just a characteristic of Windows isn't it. policy refreshes occur periodically, missing a window shouldn't be an issue. The network or OS wasn't ready at the time.

    Hello from 2021! could anyone get me a MLS eclipse2 install disk, I have a stop.zip with the .mdb files but no installer disk. NEVERMIND! I found an iso I'll thank myself from 2016 for that.

    The only fix I can find is to make sure the device is working, then force a refresh of the tab ctrl+f5. The issue seems to be that if a teams meeting is started without a valid audio output it will never output audio. Pupils are starting meetings then plugging in headphones. this shouldn't be an issue but it is. (as the PC has a built in speaker and switching should be handled by the sound card) Yes, I know about selecting devices in teams via the ellipsis. You can choose the headphones (which they are often already selected) but no audio will come through.

    restored but stuck at activation.... its got the right time and is online but states that it is linked to an their apple id. She's sure she disowned it... shrug?

    well it's in DFU, blooming took 5 attempts before black screen and windows usb noises. itunes is being a pain about downloading updates!

    Staff returned ipad but had left the wrong pin code, she'd removed it from her icloud but as I can't use the ipad I'm stuck. how do I get the ipad working? it won't let me do anything including getting it on the web which would allow it to see that it's been disowned! ideas? the ipad says locked for 1 hour after power cycle as well which is annoying. The time and date are also wrong.

    update I think the wellbeing version's full name is "Viva Insights" rather than just Insights.

    dynabooks have usbc that offer dp alt mode and charging which the dell does not. The dynabooks also have m.2 sata not mmc storage which makes them way better. (upgradable and faster) so that 2 reasons to get the dynabooks.

    I have teachers share the desktop PowerPoint via single window sharing. all the transitions, animations work best and is teacher lead not participant lead. they can still upload pp to files as well.

    meetings policy, if you've not assigned a policy to your users then it'll be the global policy under meetings.

    you can turn off the powerpoint presenter in Teams via policy. I was thinking of doing that as it is terrible even in its current form.
