Azure AD, Fortinet Filtering

I’m pretty sure there is a fortigate enterprise app in azure that could be what your looking for -
I’ve moved on from my old school and they are now moving fully to the cloud. Files in sharepoint and Authentication using AAD with a new msp. The new msp wants them to increase all the faculty from A3 licenses to A5. They have said it’s essential for the move. Does anyone know if this is true? Is it for intune perhaps? I’m still on good terms with my old job and don’t want them getting ripped off.

Phone systems [What do you use, and how do you rate it]

We use a Matrix sarvam pbx, it’s fine, simple enough to use. But what I really like is that you can add extra hardware cards to it as you need. For example a card with extra analogue ports or a card with extra digital ports. I stuck a card that holds 4 SIM cards in. Then purchases 4 cheap 30day free calls and texts SIM cards in those slots and programmed the pbx to use those cards to call out with first. So our out going call charges beyond the sin card rental is tiny. Our average monthly voip account bill including calls is €12 the only other cost is the SIM card rental. -
Thanks, I was going mad trying to find the Attendance report to download!

We've ben using this method successfully for a while, the teachers much prefer it to the lobby, but how are you getting an Attendance record? Manually?

I have google setup as an external identity on my Azure tenant and have been logging into teams via the web app seamlessly using my test user gmail account. 2 days before a large course is about to start, I noticed that if you log in using the desktop app you are asked to authenticate using a one-time passcode instead and it's not always seemless. I've getting errors where the app continues to log you in without a code, but you get an authorization error when you click on the teams icon on the left hand side. Needless to say the panic has set in! Has anyone else experienced this?

We are a small school and don't use moodle etc. our Online classes have worked using teams for each class and teacher. However we have won a tender to host a week long course for 100 students and I planned to use teams and SharePoint to do this. We will have 100 students broken into 5 class's on 20 students, with class timetable and resources folders and announcements in SharePoint. I was going to create a team with 5 private channels, one class per channel. But while I can schedule the classes using the private channel email address, I can only show a group event calendar in SharePoint showing class for all 5 classes. Is there a way to show a calendar for the private channel only? Or have I over complicated it? would I be better off creating 5 separate teams, sharepoint sites etc? Has anyone any advise before I go too far down the rabbit hole?

Thanks, I know that, because it’s such a short course I was trying to find a way were they don’t have to create MS accounts

I like to create a communications site and allow external access to guests without Microsoft accounts for a week online course. Ideally they would log in with their own email and password, but a one time code for access would be better. Has anyone any recommendations on how they had done this before? Should I create a team site and add all the users as guests to it?
