Our client, a growing Multi Academy Trust, is looking to recruit an experienced Regional ICT Manager based in the Norfolk area with regular travel to Trust sites. Working directly with your nominated academies, 2 secondary and 3 primaries, the postholder will provide leadership for the onsite school ICT staff as well as ensure that an effective customer focused IT service is being delivered. This role will interface between the central ICT Team and the academies to facilitate a quick resolution of technical issues in addition to managing budgets, key systems and leading on ICT projects. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent ICT knowledge, a range of management skills and will work flexibly across sites in order to meet the individual schools’ needs. To be considered for this role, candidates must hold a full, clean UK driving license as well as have access to their own vehicle. You’ll already have some experience with software systems at least, maybe software application support, ideally some knowledge of iSAMS or other education mis (sims, bromcom, arbor, wcbs pass, 3sys etc) and ideally a grounding in SQL. You will definitely use o365. You may also have change management, project management or business analysis skills. You may have come from the technical route (ICT technician, Systems administration, Network admin or network manager) or via the data office (data officer, data manager, mis manager etc), but wish to further develop your knowledge and add value to the IT team and wider school You’ll manage data, implementation, develop workflows and reports, work with SLT, integrate systems, assist with configurations, training and provide documentation and policies. But most importantly will be the ability to manage the day to day IT service and deploy best practice across service delivery Salaries @ £41/42K, v generous pension, free food during term time, 8am-4pm ideally, free parking locally, access to overground and tube within 10 min walk.
