CAWJames Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 @Simcfc73 stick with the Good Place S1 in its entirety, then make a decision, people who have watched it should know why! If you already know and still don't move on, then fair enough
mavhc Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 Kidding, Better Call Saul, Walking Dead, Catastrophe, The Brink
LeMarchand Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 Probable good news for Lucifer fans: Netflix have been looking at extending the show beyond the soon-to-start "final" season, and Tom Ellis has just agreed.
CHiLL Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 Finished Formula 1: Drive to Survive Season 2 on Netflix. Really enjoyed it.
LeMarchand Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 Finished Formula 1: Drive to Survive Season 2 on Netflix. Really enjoyed it. Apparently Max Verstappen didn't: https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/motor-racing/formula1/max-verstappen-f1-netflix-drive-to-survive-series-two-2-watch-arrogant-formula-one-a9371666.html

ICTDirect_Dave Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 The current series of Top Gear that finished at the weekend has been superb! Back to it's very best I think. I particularly liked Chris Harris' film about the 1995 World Rally Championships and Colin McRae's triumph. He filmed from Chatsworth where in '95 I watched the Rally as a rather chilly 11 year old. Great memories!
Simcfc73 Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 @Simcfc73 stick with the Good Place S1 in its entirety, then make a decision, people who have watched it should know why! If you already know and still don't move on, then fair enough I did see all of S1 where the twist happened, I wasnt sure I wanted to do S2 in case it happened again. I do like the cast though, Ted is great.

Great memories! I thought it was just OK. Chris Harris is the best thing about it for me, because he's a proper car guy and yeah, his Colin McRea segment was great. I just don't feel the other two. I can manage with Freddie Flintoff, it's mainly Paddy McGuinness...normally I don't mind him but every time he talks or introduces something...it's like a game show and really grates me.
mavhc Posted March 6, 2020 Posted March 6, 2020 I did see all of S1 where the twist happened, I wasnt sure I wanted to do S2 in case it happened again. I do like the cast though, Ted is great. Obviously The Good Place is Melville's and The Bad Place is Cheers
CPS-Stimmers Posted March 6, 2020 Posted March 6, 2020 I really like Andy Samberg & Taylor Lautner in it but the seasons kinda get worse and worse. But still I watch, I've just finished the latest season... very Meh...
LeMarchand Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 Came across "Two Legends" (AKA Dve legendy) on Amazon, a Russian show about two agents who pose as teachers in a school. Gave up fairly rapidly. It looks like Russian TV has reached the levels of 70s ITC thrillers, but without the fun. Watched the pilot of "Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist" (showing on E4) and really liked it. Does seem quite similar to Eli Stone from a few years back, but with less George Michael. Be surprised if it makes it to a second season, but if you like light-hearted musicals... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J3ysnKzbB0o
DiNZi Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 The Witcher, Unbelievable and The Sinner all recommended.
LeMarchand Posted March 28, 2020 Posted March 28, 2020 Finished S1 of Picard last night - brilliant! As well as S2 of Lost in Space, which was also very enjoyable.
ICTDirect_Dave Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 Finished S1 of Picard last night - brilliant! It really was! The whole series was just grown-up Next Generation. Great ending 1
hardtailstar Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 Started watching Treadstone last night. It's in the Jason Bourne world of films but a TV series on Amazon Prime. I think its quite good but its not light watching as it jumps around to different story lines very quickly but they are all linked.
CHiLL Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 Breaking Bad - because I'm that guy who hasn't seen it. Although I'm finding it really difficult watching TV in recent times. My attention span is non-existent and I have the urge to check my phone all the time.
ICTDirect_Dave Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 Breaking Bad - because I'm that guy who hasn't seen it. I think I'm the only person who doesn't like it. Too slow and I couldn't develop an attachment to ANY of the characters! My attention span is non-existent and I have the urge to check my phone all the time. I struggle with this. I tend to leave my phone in another room when watching telly.
mavhc Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 Not the teacher who's not paid enough and doesn't get respect? Or the ex student who's found that one thing he's quite good at, but it happens to be illegal? Or the entire family having to deal with terrifying medical news, or the guy who doesn't want his family to know or worry 1
Djmonky1 Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 Got Disney plus so on the 5 seris on agents of shield and will start on star wars the clone wars series as well as mandalorian
Simcfc73 Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 Got Disney plus so on the 5 seris on agents of shield and will start on star wars the clone wars series as well as mandalorian I got to binge watch Mandalorian in the 7 day free trail... they got that covered. Not that impressed tbh, seen almost all on it. Did watch Lady and the Tramp which was good.
mikeprice Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 Just realised I have accidentally got Amazon Prime OK - wife does not want to watch Picard - and I am fed up with news about viruses and we have a spare 42 inch TV!!!!!(don;t ask) and due to shielding I had had to move to another bedroom I think I see a solution!!!!
mavhc Posted March 31, 2020 Posted March 31, 2020 Up to season 10 of Cheers, or season -1 of Fraiser, however you count it. Isn't Star Trek mostly about how the virus of the Borg will infect us all? Finally managed to get the last episode of Mythbusters, just had to go to australia to do it. 3rd person vs 1st person view, which is better. Involved wearing a VR helmet with a camera mounted on a pole on your back.
mdrabble Posted March 31, 2020 Posted March 31, 2020 Slowly watching Supernatural - Now on Season 3, only another 12 seasons to go
LeMarchand Posted March 31, 2020 Posted March 31, 2020 Slowly watching Supernatural - Now on Season 3, only another 12 seasons to go I'm wondering if their current Corona mandated break in production (with a couple of week's filming to go) might mean a "feature length finale" TV Movie. Jared Padalecki was supposed to be going straight into the "Walker, Texas Ranger" reboot show after wrapping Supernatural. I guess that he and Chuck Norris are equally accomplished actors .
