I jus wish gaming hardware manufacturers would start supporting the distro's a bit more. I have a Moza steering wheel setup that cost me a small fortune but I do get a lot of use out of it (300 hours last year). I think the game I really like has a linux version so no loss that side. It is the only system that runs Windows that begrudginly I have with a MAC mini M2 as my daily driver.

Certainly sounds like categories to me. When we used to run decryption on our own firewall at a previous place only categories of Medical and banking were defo not decrypted, they could only be decrypted by explicit confirmation by the organization to the third party supplier.

I think this is the thing, it needs to be taken ownership of, not simply ITs job to decide on content and when it should be updated. Doing the work would depend on skill level, making that part easy and less open to mistakes. At my pervious school it was the teachers responsibility to update the web site for instance, IT supported the third party platform to some extent if it had issues but apart from that the website content was out of IT's remit and responsibility to update. My opinion of course 🙂

Like others I did this purely for learning but wanted to run permanently instead of a lab that I'd jus start up when wanting. I no longer work in the server side of stuff apart from managing the services our team provide to end users, those are appliances VMs or Physical and unix/linux based or hardware APs, switches, phones, routers, etc.

Believe it or not reading the following I have reduced my complex network, lol. I no longer run a full MS AD at home with MDT, radius and CA services. 3 node Proxmox cluster, 2 are Lenovo small servers and the other is a Lenovo Thinkstation acting as a fully fledged node but jus running small VMs 1 physical TrueNas and one virtual JellyFin For DNS and Adblocking run 2 Technitium VMs in a cluster with DoH Aruba networking (switches and APs) MikroTik 10Gb switch for SMB/NFS Shares and Proxmox sync Home Assistant (Docker on a VM) Host of other VMs that hardly get used OPNsense Firewalls in HA with FTTP and 4g backup. Just some simple monitoring with Zabbix and uptime Kuma Far too many vlans all terminated on firewall with ACLs A few cloudflare tunnels, one for HomeAssistant and a few others for remote access via O365 auth. Local storage for photos with some backup to cloud storage i.e. AWS might be on the cards as well as local password manager again with backup to AWS will prob be some upcoming projects and yep I think I do need a WiKi, at the moment I jus have a page on HomeAssistant with all the links to admin GUI's

+1 Include Universities which I suspect are going to be mostly O365. I'am sure there are Uni IT support people on this platform, lol. First deployed Live@Edu in 2010 to replace RM easymail but deployed mostly O365 since that, never deployed Google workspace.

People having this issue, do you also have Windows Defender and Panda 360 enabled on the clients? Are the 2 conflicting?

Still only hooked into ETS2/ATS. I've got maximum drivers 355 due to game limits in ETS2, earn about £14 million a week of driving time. SCS software are continually developing with both an Iceland an Ireland pack in the works with continual updates to maps etc. They are due to release coaches DLC by the end of the year hopefully which will expand on jus delivering cargo in time to customer satisfaction score which might get interesting 😁

Normally we would not go to the latest version however a number of CVEs have been coming out with Aruba CX so been sort of forced, firewalls never have the latest unless unavoidable.

Reason Free edition although limited to 16 tracks. I've never used the track version of Reason though because I stopped using it before they brought in tracks, I simply linked it to another DAW when I used it using re-wire.

Most devices these days have surface mount components a normal soldering iron is not really suitable. Can you try starting in safe mode with networking on the models effected, try logging in as a local account and see if that improves the performance? Look at system logs to see if anything stands out?

I'd try and get a public/private signed CA for what's it worth how are you dealing with decryption and deploying those certs if you are? Private CA does have it's benefits but you have got to deploy the cert to devices somehow. We use Eduroam where I am and it is easy to download a profile with the correct certs whether they be Public or Private CA
