sparkeh Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 As a kind of companion to the movie thread (http://www.edugeek.net/forums/tv-movies/143036-last-movie-i-saw.html), what TV shows are you currently watching/just watched? To kick things off, just watched the 2nd season of Bojack Horseman on Netflix. Best thing I have watched for a long time Trailer is NSWF https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sGsBoX6vUo Awesome Bojack website: Bojack Horseman Actor Website!

Arthur Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 (edited) Mr Robot. It has a bit of Fight Club / Dexter / Matrix vibe to it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ug4fRXGyIak Humans Edited July 27, 2015 by Arthur 1
LeMarchand Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Currently watching semi-regularly at least (or the list might be long - I keep meaning to ask for help with culling my HTPC TV folder). These may be a season or two behind! Yonderland - gonna post the trailer again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIIN_4dFP0E Killjoys The Strain Person of Interest Penny Dreadful (just finished, can't fathom why this isn't more talked about) Sleepy Hollow ...and many more that I'd have to check at home for. Most anticipated returning show (after Game of Thrones): Most anticipated upcoming show (out of many that I'd like to have time to watch):
ICTDirect_Dave Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Currently watching the excellent Suits whilst I patiently await the mass of comic book mayhem that lands in October. Then there's the usual suspects due back in Sept; Castle & NCIS(in all it's many forms), then there's the Sherlock special but god knows when that's gonna air...
ZeroHour Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Mr. Robot (really surprisingly good) Under the Dome The Last Ship Dominion Killjoys Dark Matter The Strain
Sagima Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 We watch one or two things a night. Firstly a regular program which is currently this list: Sunday - Hannibal Monday - Sleepy Hollow Tuesday - The Fall Wednesday - How to Get Away With Murder Thursday - Bates Motel Friday - The Blacklist Saturday - Film Night (or Taggart) Then we finish off with one of the following: Orange is the New Black Looking Dynasty Dallas (classic) Orphan Black Prime Suspect (usually 30-40 minutes at a time) as it's quite long
sparkeh Posted July 27, 2015 Author Posted July 27, 2015 Regarding Orange is the New Black, anyone else over Piper and Alex now? Getting a bored of their storyline now and much more interested in the other characters' backstories.
Sagima Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Regarding Orange is the New Black, anyone else over Piper and Alex now? Getting a bored of their storyline now and much more interested in the other characters' backstories. They are the two least interesting characters in it. Needs more janeway (though not in a love triangle sense)
unixman_again Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 The Avengers (not the terrible Marvel one) Xena Warrior Princess Mr & Mrs Murder Hawaii Five-O (both the superb original and the crap remake) Mission Impossible (my all time favourite series) What's My Line (watching on youtube were a very kind person is regularly posting new episodes) Starting next week I'm off for three weeks and I have lined up on DVD Quark (the adventures of an intergalactic garbage man) My Living Doll (Julie Newmar as a sexy android) and maybe The Samurai (my second favourite series)
ICTDirect_Dave Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 How could I possibly forget The Last leg. Makes me laugh like nothing else on TV at the moment. It's brilliant
plexer Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Just got up to date with Banshee last night been watching from the beginning and really like it although not sure how long it has to last. Want to watch Mr Robot a colleague was talking about it the other day. Ben
LiamHaith Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 I watch: Sons of Anarchy and that's about it for modern shows. Other than that, I'm watching: Red Dwarf FRIENDS IT Crowd How I met Your Mother Scrubs You get the idea

sparkeh Posted July 28, 2015 Author Posted July 28, 2015 Just counted close to 200 show folders on my HTPC. Must have a cull! You should see my Netflix watchlist... :S Just started Sherlock. Never watched it at the time but loving it!
pcstru Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Vikings. I've just finished the first series - reasonably good so far.
SpuffMonkey Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 True Detective and just watched Sens8 enjoyed it - but a weak ending, Humans is good and just acquired the original scandi version
jinnantonnixx Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I discovered BoJack Horseman over the weekend. There's no way this should work, but it does and I love it.
ICTDirect_Dave Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 (edited) Hannibal was brilliant but the start of season three was pants! It's finally picking up again now though. I was gutted to hear that NBC are likely to abandon plans for a West Wing reboot this year. From what I've read it would have been a continuation of the original series picking up with Sam Seaborn's presidential race and following another two terms. Various returning cast reported to have shown an intrest the prospect include Bradley Whitford (Josh), Alison Janney (CJ), Dule Hill (Charlie), and Rob Lowe (Sam). As (possibly) my favourite TV show of all time I would have loved a continuation like this... Edited July 28, 2015 by ICTDirect_Dave
Iain.Faulkner Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I'm a bit behind and have just finished the first three seasons of Game of Thrones...just need to get season 4 ordered now :-) Just started watching something called Silks as well, which also has Natalie Dormer in it from Game of Thrones, quite enjoying that as well.
