6Foot2 Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 We are currently 'box setting' Hanna. We completed series 1 yesterday, and we are part-way through season 2 now... Just starting the last episode of season 2.
AJWhite1970 Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 5 episodes into The Mandalorian after giving in to everyone telling me to watch it, and yes, it’s very good 1
Rob_D Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 That Mandalorian finale! Oh my... Yeah, I didn't see that coming. I'd kind of forgotten is was even possible.
Simcfc73 Posted December 21, 2020 Posted December 21, 2020 I decided to get Disney for a month to watch Mandalorian.. I got it on trial when it first came out and wasn't that impressed but I'll give it another go... it can't be worse than Star Trek. So glad the Expanse is back..
VeryPC_Nicole Posted January 2, 2021 Posted January 2, 2021 Just finished Chilling Adventures of Sabrina! Binge watched this today with no regrets but sad to see it end 1
sparkeh Posted January 3, 2021 Author Posted January 3, 2021 Just finished Chilling Adventures of Sabrina! Binge watched this today with no regrets but sad to see it end Oh didn’t realise it had been cancelled. Been enjoying the last series ☹️
Simcfc73 Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 Yeah, I didn't see that coming. I'd kind of forgotten is was even possible. I sort of suspected something when the ship appeared.. I have no idea of the timeline in this though. Be interesting the next series.
Garacesh Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 Gotta be honest, I don't think Death to 2020 was as bad as folks are painting it. I quite enjoyed it. 1
mikeprice Posted January 3, 2021 Posted January 3, 2021 Currently re-watching Torchwood Finished Series 1 - awesome - many great lines delivered with perfection from an unexpected angle - often by Jack Now on Series 2 - still great - not awesome - less great lines seem to remember that series 3 was also lower and series 4 I was originally disappointed in - but will give it a go - seem to remember something about US influence in it
AJWhite1970 Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 Torchwood Series 3 is the 5 part "Children of Earth" which IMHO is the best thing they ever did YMMV
ICTDirect_Dave Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 I sort of suspected something when the ship appeared.. I have no idea of the timeline in this though. Be interesting the next series. Mando is set around five years after Return of the Jedi. Gives plenty of freedom for them to play with storylines (and to borrow from the books that are now non-canon ) Gotta be honest, I don't think Death to 2020 was as bad as folks are painting it. I quite enjoyed it. I really enjoyed it. It was essentially Brooker's traditional yearly summation show (no 2020 wipe this year), but with more famous faces . Great fun! Torchwood Series 3 is the 5 part "Children of Earth" which IMHO is the best thing they ever did It is both brilliant AND harrowing. Fantastic TV!
FishCustard Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 Gotta be honest, I don't think Death to 2020 was as bad as folks are painting it. I quite enjoyed it. I tried to watch it - seemed rather "TV eating itself" for my liking.
LeMarchand Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 Currently re-watching Torchwood Finished Series 1 - awesome - many great lines delivered with perfection from an unexpected angle - often by Jack Now on Series 2 - still great - not awesome - less great lines seem to remember that series 3 was also lower and series 4 I was originally disappointed in - but will give it a go - seem to remember something about US influence in it Season 3 was absolutely brilliant! Season 4 was a bit poor apart from S1 & S2 were generally OK, but the only one I really remember was "Adrift" (the one with Ruth Jones searching for her son).
ICTDirect_Dave Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 The Expanse. Loving it. This series covers the events of my favourite two books so I'm looking forward to bingeing the whole lot at some point very soon
mikeprice Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 Season 3 was absolutely brilliant! Season 4 was a bit poor apart from S1 & S2 were generally OK, but the only one I really remember was "Adrift" (the one with Ruth Jones searching for her son). Maybe I am mis-remembering it -it was a long time ago I shall keep watching
JATSO Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 After watching the last season of Better Call Saul we wait for the next one. In the meantime we have just got to the last episode of Series 1 of "Bloodline" on Netflix and like the other its very good.
CAWJames Posted January 13, 2021 Posted January 13, 2021 "The Serpent", bit strange to start with the time jumps, but really enjoyed it
mikeprice Posted January 13, 2021 Posted January 13, 2021 "The Serpent", bit strange to start with the time jumps, but really enjoyed it Us to currently also just getting to the end of Torchwood Miracle Day is far better than I remembered Then I've got Dr Who from Christmas to watch
mikeprice Posted January 13, 2021 Posted January 13, 2021 OK - just finished watching Miracle Day clearly set up for a follow up - which never happened which shows what happens when you let the USA TV people take over REALLY?? - great set up - great show - followed by nothing Sill Now Dr Who AND JACK'S BACK
witch Posted January 14, 2021 Posted January 14, 2021 Bit behind the curve - just started watching American Gods Very odd!
Norphy Posted January 14, 2021 Posted January 14, 2021 (edited) Bit behind the curve - just started watching American Gods Very odd! It's one of my favourite books but despite the money that Amazon have thrown at it I'm not too sure it translated very well to the screen. I gave up about half way through the first season. I'm waiting Cobra Kai on Netflix at the moment. I'm liking it a lot. Edited January 14, 2021 by Norphy
Andrew_C Posted January 14, 2021 Posted January 14, 2021 Bit behind the curve - just started watching American Gods Very odd! We're musing on that; liked the book.
