I'm a headphone hoarder, and have pairs all over the place. The best value, and ones I use for entertainment (rather than mixing etc) are cheap but great! oneodio.com available on Amazon or direct. I've some older ones, cabled or wireless, great bass and less than £50 delivered. I also use Beyer DT990 Pro, DT100, Sennheiser 650 etc but these are literally a fraction of the price and very wearable!

Dependent on demand, I teach brass (music) and run the Brass Ensemble some years, also Conduct the School Musical etc. Depends how keen/experienced the Music department staff are (They're good at the mo)

As someone who does a lot of gigs, but also attends a lot, by far the most inappropriate was Dream Theater in the ridiculously undersized King Georges Hall in Blackburn, 2007.

In ASM, under Settings, then Device Management settings, you need to add Computacenter as a Reseller using their code COMPUTACENTER (UK) LTD (892F050)

Smoothwall Gateway going down
Andycat replied to Benjaminbl12's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
We had a support call open, and we got the specs of the drive (it was a 5400rpm CCTV HDD) so they sent out a 7200rpm (non ssd) but it's fine so far.- 26 replies

Our path was the same, almost exactly, including changing the authentication method. It was the HDD all along!- 26 replies

Has anyone got a reliable supplier of Bluetooth Headsets? We're after 80ish, single ear with microphone, to pair with laptops for Teams teaching. I know Amazon etc has them, but all my usual places seem very expensive or out of stock (we're not after Sennheiser/Plantronics quality here)

We're in Tier 2 (but were already more locked down) and had had a full year group (270) plus others sent home. I received an email saying there was devices available so I logged on and ordered them all. The email was from a different address to last time though: department.for.education.get.help.with.technology@notifications.service.gov.uk

At the start of the order? How? The Website doesn't give you an option for that, they have MY ASM details, that was on the order, they just don't provide theirs anywhere?

Help and a warning! We received our 82 iPads on Monday. Very swift! That's where the good news ends really... The sleeves are TERRIBLE. They are 11" laptop floppy ones, not suitable for an iPad in any way. No option for a case. Also, they won't appear in our Apple School Manager until we add Computacenter as a reseller in there. I can't find a number anywhere to do that. I emailed on Monday (no reply yet, this is Friday) and I also rang Computacenter direct, to be told the only way of finding out is via the dfe email. Maybe one of you knows their apple reseller details please? Although they aren't an Apple Education partner so why would you use them normally.... At least they are more useful to us than the laptops from before summer. Or will be eventually!

No idea what they WANT you to do, but I just ordered them all at once! 82 available, so I got them all.

Apple School Manager has dragged all our classes in when we created the managed Apple IDs for students. These are now the only options in Apple Classroom for teachers, and they can't manually create classes. This is a problem as there are so many changes at the moment due to Covid that the SIMS timetable from the upload date is obviously wrong at the moment, and changing every week! To complicate matters, the staff ipads were in place before School Manager, so the staff don't use the managed Apple IDs created by it...... Any advice please?
