Same here, Avigilon is backbone, and we use quite a few makes of cameras with it.

We've just ordered some additional cameras etc and our supplier wouldn't offer either of these. Will offer Korean ones though....

We ordered new infrastructure in February, and we still haven't got it in due to a delay in connectors. The rest of the hardware is here, but only arrived at the end of May. HP stuff!

Yes, even specify minimum for processor, we said minimum 10th gen, as there are all sorts of supply issues at the mo, so unless you can wait months, be a little more generic!

CD's are still a must... the listening exams and Music exams are CD preferred here... visiting Dance folk do CD. We have ability to play most stuff, even if not currently connected (and I still prefer minidisc for shows.....)

We've had iPads for 8 years now. Always been an issue. It's a behaviour, not IT, issue. But we know where it ends up.... Equally, VPN's are an issue. We try and block them in Smoothwall, then get tutted at when the NHS or Council appear needing theirs to work....

I use DW Service in general for pals but also to my work machine if I need remote access.

Quick answers please, I have to speak to staff tonight around GDPR, new servers, spring clean etc. How much server storage do you currently use? Not cloud/sharepoint/onedrive etc, actual on disk on site? Staff, student home drives, shared drives, MIS etc. For info, we're a 1500 pupil 11-18, with a total of 140 staff. Would be handy to compare and give some figures at 3.30pm!!

Yes, that opens the floodgates but has been the only way we can do it too. Got a careers thing in 2 weeks that needs parents/companies/private email users to Teams in and we were hoping there was a more secure way. Ho hum.
