  1. Yes all good. Switches too. They took a little longer but all on prem and working as in cloud.
  2. Yes we're fully on prem now. After only 6 weeks in the cloud....
  3. Let's hope this goes through and is workable!
  4. "In conjunction with those efforts, Cambium Networks is extending support of cnMaestro Cloud through at least October 2026, including support of the entire enterprise product portfolio. Cambium Networks’ objective is to find an acquiror for CN Maestro to ensure long-term access or, alternatively, allow the ability to transition from a cloud environment to an on-premises implementation deployment." tiny bit of good news at least, from the horses mouth.
  5. Has anyone managed to block Geminin? We're not a Google school, but in Chrome Gemini is always there. We use Smoothwall and have AI blocked in there, but the web Gemini always persists.
  6. but for everything that we are buying, we’ll continue to support the cloud-based cnMaestro They haven't bought the enterprise wifi

Start Date: ASAP We're looking for an IT / AV technician (AV is both classroom and live event) We're an oversubscribed 11-18 CofE Single Academy in Blackburn, Lancashire. Closing Date: 5th October, 2026 Job Description attached IT-AV-Technician-2026.pdf
  8. I was at our suppliers yesterday, and they are hopeful that one of the major players might buy the enterprise wifi bit. Apparently they've snapped up quite a few Cambium employees immediately anyway. But we're still going on prem for now.
  9. Ok (sorry for spam) but we can't go below 7.1.1.2 as that's the minimum firmware version for the device, whether via cnMaestro or command line.
  10. We've looked and we have our external AP's on the earlier firmware, but still only getting about 4mb through them. Mystery.
  11. Like @synaesthesia, we're on brand new kit that came with a later firmware by default. It's just a borked one, and they're certainly not going to fix it!
  12. Apparently it won't let us. Need to find a way to do it through a GUI(?)
  13. Cloud currently, need to get it stable before moving, and our supplier has said hang fire, as hhave others.
  14. The latest one has issues, and our AP's are running the CPU at 100%. Need to work out how to downgrade now....
  15. Hi, help please! We're on X7-35X access points, and the firmware is troublesome (7.11.2r4). Has anyone an old firmware somewhere for these, or what are you using please? Andy
  16. Our supplier is in meetings with Purdicom this afternoon, and says that things are still changing by the hour. Also told us to hold off with On Prem.
  17. We'll give it a try thanks!
  18. We're in the same position, but we're struggling configuring it to a decent standard. No support available and we're shooting in the dark. Unusable in most of the building.
  19. Spoke to our reseller today, plus another larger reseller. Both said the DfE didn't know any more than them about this (which is very little) and that they can't see a resolution in form of a buyout after speaking to distributors. ☹️
  20. This would be massively helpful here please. We're just stuck in a mess of resignations and ipads at the moment quietly panicking about the wifi!
  21. We're a new install so have support tickets open, but not had any responses since Friday on them.
  22. Maybe not.... we might need some
  23. Where do we get this please?
