Google Drive - Limiting (size and file types).
DGardiner replied to Koldov's topic in Cloud Services
What we did to get around this was use custom directories, the Kids addresses arent in the directory for kids so they have to type it out manually, it makes it a bit less abusable -
If you have a mac you can use configurator to manually insert these into DEP - its a fairly quick proccess. If you have any of the delivery details, just call computacenter and try and get yourself through to the DEP department and see what you can do - Ive done this in the past with other box shifters and never had an issue

I agree, but people are dragging giablo to the front and saying its _the worst_ when theres plenty of examples of games that are actually worse. Netease should never have been involved really as theyre one of the worst offenders. There was a thread on reddit that did a pretty good job at highlighting the systems that arent present so there must have been some conflict between the companies edit: found the post

I think people are getting a bit bent out of shape over their game franchise hitting the mobile market... and monetisation The games solid and fun, the monetisation whilst bad in a pc game world is relitively tame by mobile standards imo.

SPF, DKIM and DMARC walkthrough and tester
DGardiner replied to TechMonkey's topic in Enterprise Software
None, they each in turn make it more difficult to spoof your companies emails If youre just starting out SPF + DKIM is the starting point, running a mail service without these is silly. DMARC is more difficult and requires a bit of planning testing to not accidentally kill your emails but well worth doing https://www.compassitc.com/blog/what-are-dkim-spf-and-dmarc -
We use an IDP Smart 51, plenty options available if you need Cardpresso to make the cards, Different editions have different capabilities, basic does for us though. No idea about the mifare/mis stuff

DHCP Lookup Failed 20x Chromebooks
DGardiner replied to Alex0x7F's topic in Network and Classroom Management
how busy is your wifi network? make sure auto optimise is off as this will disable broadcast traffic in high load scenarios.... this kills dhcp, not sure if you turn dhcp guarding on and configure if that overrides that but we just turned it off- 6 replies

Cloud Based Digital Signage - Low Cost or even Free
DGardiner replied to garethEds's topic in Cloud Services
Honestly, xibo is a pain in the backside. the editor is pants. Weve started using our wordpress theme we use on our sites with the pages setup for full spread and it looks loads better and its easier to maintain. Just set the page to refresh every now and then and kiosk a pc/device to the pc -
its a guest network meant for internet access not streaming, block all the usual suspect bandwidth hogs and leave it uncapped
