When I worked at a secondary school they redeveloped all the toilets to be individual cubicles with hand basins essentially in the corridors. The fire alarm guys also did something, not entirely sure what, but the smoke detectors in the toilet cubicles were not connected to the main alarm just connected to a red light outside each cubicle which could be seen on the CCTV. they auto reset after a few minutes.

Did it with my Son's laptop (because he's the age where he wants to try everything) - Based on my admittedly limited testing it seems like a rule of thumb is that if it runs fine on a 2gb ram Android device it'll run fine on a 4gb Windows device. If it's laggy on a 2gb ram Android device (I'm looking at you here Royal Match) it's practically unusable on a 4gb Windows device.

Unifi at 1 school (35 APs, captive portal, VLAN'd guest portal) Ruckus at the other 2. One Ruckus is a practically brand new 15 AP AC system and cost a fortune, the other is an 12 AP N150 system from about 10 years ago, ironically the difference in infrastructure quality between the 2 schools means there is negligible performance difference between the 2!

Stupid question... Does the command to install need the .exe specifying?

Server search on the drive containing appdata for the top level Teams appdata folder, Ctrl+A Del? That's what I did when our SLT's Teams got stuck trying to log into a guest tenancy and not our own.

What mechanism are you using to install?

Any logging/errors on the SAN itself? My EMC web console gave a load of SMART warnings when one of the disks failed, but I had to log into it directly.

I was warned about this by a friend when I started going Chromebook in a big way - I set 'erase all local user data' on every log out. It doesn't need to be there for a shared deployment.

I've got a batch of 30 100e Chromebooks from the DfE where 20 of them have needed replacement keyboards straight out of the box. The symptom for us has been they all start up unable to click on anything because multiple keys are registering a press simultaneously. Mashing the hell out of the keyboard seems to fix it temporarily, but it returns after a few minutes and after a restart.

We're still experiencing toner's with no chips, which is messing up our automated stock ordering but they are arriving within 24hours if we request them manually. We're also struggling with excessive delivery times on sundry items like pedestals (4 months and counting), card readers (8 weeks between ordering and delivery ) and staples (1 month delay to automated orders).

Unfortunately I don't have access to that server any more... Let me check the settings on an HP VM Host I do have access to. *Edit* I've just checked - the only HP I have access to has a Broadcom chipset.

We were promised a cloud timetabler in their presentation to us 3 years ago... I'd love to be proved wrong, but I'm not holding my breath.

Can't remember now exactly what the combination was now!

Is the network card a Broadcom one? You may need to disable VMQ

We've bought one for a room that frequently houses pupils who would, lets say, 'actively target' an interactive panel. Everywhere else, no, interactive screens FTW.

Try the machine wide installer MSI... If they're getting a new profile each time the machine wide should mean they get a new teams install each time.

Have you installed all the HP drivers as they're a bit of a nightmare for non-standard integrations for hotkeys?

YoDeck at one site, Xibo at the other. YoDeck is more SLT friendly but costs for more than one screen.

Running it on most endpoints now according to WDS, couple of stay-at-home machines reporting it not applied yet... Nothing much to report. The only thing I've noticed, and this could be a coincidence, is far more people than usual have reported USB issues. Cameras, Touchscreens, Smartboards, Cutter/Plotter have all failed at inopportune moments in the last few days and required variously reconnects and/or reboots. None of them seem to have been repeated once the initial issue is cleared. Like I say, could just be a coincidence.

You need to extract the inf files from the package on the lenovo website. you can either do this by installing the drivers somewhere and going looking for the install files, or you may be able to open the exe file in 7zip and read the contents out depending on how the package is made by lenovo.
