When selecting open-with on a .mp4 in Google Drive as any domain user, we are presented with a suggested app "Video Player for Google Drive" which directs us to a website which is covered in adware and lead to some innapropriate pop-up ads. Is there any way to manage what shows as a suggested app? The app appears to not exist on the Google Workspace Marketplace so we can't exclude it from install or block it from the API controls section in Google Admin. I've attached a screenshot of what our users see.

We've been with Ruckus for over 8 years now and are looking to upgrade our infrastructure. We're happy with their service but would like to know what other wireless solutions are being used in educational environments. We have around 40 APs supporting 250+ clients. Thanks!

Hi,We have a Ubuntu 18.04 server VM running off a synology LUN being used as a samba share for Windows computers.Everything works except if we transfer a file over 800MB it freezes at 0% for over 60 seconds and fails to transfer.Has anybody seen anything like this because i'm struggling to find a solution.Surely there is a way for transfers to start as it would if it was a windows share..kind regards

we we're curious about the difference between NG and MF. Do you know if it is only MF that can be embedded directly on printers?
-
Are the printers still deployed through a server on site or does it all work differently when managed? I've heard some people say they've had a system where a user can print a document and then release it at any printer they like.

Hi, I'm just reading through that page now, according to the page it's available for both NG and MF. Noticed within the Sync settings it can also bring over an ID from AD. Do you use this or are IDs solely generated within Papercut?
-
Hi, We currently use Papercut Ng on site and authenticate users with active directory. We're looking at contracting out all the printers and papercut to an external company. We were curious in how the PIN authentication works. I can see you can manually add a PIN within the user settings but not bulk generate them. Is it better to automatically generate 4 digit card IDs? can that number be used to authenticate at the printers. We're not interested in physical cards, just a 4 digit number per user. Regards

Hi,We recently looked into Samba File shares. We have set up a basic shared drive that can be accessed by anyone who has mapped it to their Windows device. We currently have a windows file share with groups permissions. For example, the drive has a Senior Staff and Junior Staff folder. The Senior Staff folder can only be accessed by users in the Senior group etc. Is there anyway to recreate this with a Samba File Share? We have joined the linux server to our Windows domain but are unsure on how to add group permissions to folders.Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hi, Does anybody know how to view what Youtube videos a user has viewed through smoothwall? I've ran a full user analysis report and it only shows http://www.Youtube.com once and no videos. I can see in Impero that one specific video was accessed but it isn't showing in Smoothwall. Any ideas?

Hi, Curious as to whether anybody has used Relution as a Mobile Management Solution for both Apple and Android. The pricing appears to offer great value but the site doesn't show much detail about the restrictions and policies it offers. If anybody uses this software in their institution, how do you find it? Cheers

It's the not being about to restrict settings that's our real problem, I understand there is an upload application option. I've come across a solution called Device Manager by comodo which appears to be free. Has anyone got any experience?
-
Hi, We've enrolled the device through that method but you only get access to enabling and disabling the camera. There are no other policies or way of managing applications..

Hello, We're currently using Lightspeed Mobile Manager to manage our 96 IPads. We recently acquired an Android tablet and seem to have no way of integrating this into Lightspeed. Does anyone have a similar environment where they use both IOS and Android tablets on one MDM. Allowing restrictions and policies on both. It would also be helpful having App management for both operating systems. Cheers
