That interface looks a lot like PRTG, just tweaked a bit and says Netgear.

I am using PRTG to monitor mine and my clients networks, but its server based. I dont think you'll find much in portable apps to do what you want.

+1 fr PfSense I have my web filtering setup on pfsense, using squid and squidguard.

Testdisk and Photorec are of exceptional grade and have very good results!

If you want to stick with Acronis, look at backup & recovery 11. We use it here. Handy for on the fly imaging if a hard disk fails you can put a drive into a dock and image straight from the TIB file. Or boot from the media with TIB on a USB Drive or something.

Really ? Id open Office Word or Excel ... On a limited user account and go to open and type in a UNC path to a server in the open dialogue box. Can you get to a server this way ?

http://www.pfsense.org Completely free. Many people on here have deployed it and love it. Its one of the best routing/firewall/security packages out there. You can run it on the most basic of hardware. I have ran it as part of a core router on an ISP network.

Use A pfsense box and plug the ubiquity points into a port on the pfsense box setup with Squid proxy. Many on here will have done this.

Good Idea, we have an in house Wiki, Knowledge Base if you like. All properly setup with menu's - contents etc. Search option so you can search for DHCP and then server by Server name... or if you want CCTV you can search CCTV then by company name and it'll show the settings. it's taking some time to set up and put into place.

Would VPN be quick enough for replication ?

Hi all, A little project im working on requires me to find out whether replication could be setup over fiber WAN link. With No Active Directory availability. I believe to be able to replicate in Hyper-V you have to be able to authenticate against AD. This would not be possible over WAN link. Clients want to share space in each other server room but on different networks - possibly even a different ISP. Does VEEAM Have a solution ? Thanks all - hope the above makes sense.

How have the NICS been damaged ? Are these PC's ? if so can you get a PCI(E) NIC ?

Can you set the proxy config on the Ubiquity system, so that anyone who connects to the wifi will end up going through proxy that way ?
