Actually i am looking for a portable tool. where i can connect into any network and gather Network information such Network map switches in use etc, Because i visit many school so anytime it takes a lot of time to understand the Network. Thanks for reply.

Hi Guys; Any suggestion for Free network monitoring tool (not solarwind or Fluke etc) to install on windows, which gives you topology information + what type of switches or router is being used. And possible traffic monitoring on Switches ports. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks;
