Dont think so there's nothing really on the machine except for the milling software... It logs on as A normal user and not an Administrator too, ive read the I may need to issue the ewfmgr C: -commit command but not sure this will run under a non admin account.

Hi all, I have a query: below is whats happening. One of our customers has a factory machine (some sort of drill, I dunno) it runs from a Windows XP embedded machine. We have just upgraded the server to server 2012 R2. The software on the XP Embedded machine points to a network share which is all well and good. The XP Machine wont connect to the network share, it doesnt keep the network credentials entered into XP, nothing in credential manager. I thought a way around it would be to use a start up script... but on reboot the script is removed as is any registry settings that I add regarding the network credentials. It almost like the machine starts form fresh upon reboot. Any Ideas ? Thanks in advance

Well files are on my tftpd server, phone is plugged directly into laptop and has an IP. But phone is sitting there on the upgrading screen. I'm using tftpd32 as DHCP and TFTPD server....

SIP would be fine, however Ive got the files on my tftp server, not sure where to go now.

Good morning to all of you great folks! I have 2 phones a 7941 and a 7961... I have had them in a store room for a while and thought I'd give them a try on my 3CX system. Sitrep: the 7961, powers on, but has a blank screen after all the light sequences.... the 7941 boots up and is stuck on "upgrading". What I want to do is get these phones on the latest firmware - what files do I need and how do I get it onto the phones to be used with 3CX (Sip firmware?) I have tftpd32 setup as a tftp and a DHCP server. Neither phone seems to be picking up an IP. OR Should these phones be thrown in the bucket ? Thanks in advance.

This is what I do, you can also - aslong as you know how much slack you have screw the patch panel the right way round into the back of the rack rather than in the front, this way you can punch down easier, once punched unscrew and screw into the front of the cabinet.

With FreePBX... what android clients cam be used. I like 3CX because you can take your extension with you in the form of 3CX Android / IOS app ? anyone done this on freepbx ?

Asterisk/FreePBX , or if you dont need ring groups etc 3CX has a free version.

Coming from someone who has hands on experience in building DC's - Data centers usually have to of adhered to certain standards (Fire regs, Security, Building Regs, Data Security etc etc)... test bed or not. I have several ring binders full of design plans and all manner of stuff to do with it. Not an easy task if you want to do it properly.

Hi All, Wondered if anyone could recommend me a 'Power only' Hard Drive Enclosure. Or something of that ilk, basically i Have some Dell Rack Servers. Ive used all the drive bays so I have got one of the external SATA Leads that plugs into the RAID card (Splits into 4 or 6 Sata Cables.) at the back, this only provides for Sata connectivity though. So I'd like to know how to Power the drives or whether there is some sort of Enclosure I could use the cable with. Thanks all in advance!

Hi all, im looking at putting in a 3cx box at home, I'd like to get rid of landline but cant do that as Im in KC land tied to a fiber package with my landline. So I want to build my 3CX system to work over my landline rather than the internet! What will I need, Obviously ill have to have my 3CX sytem plugged into my phone line - what sort of device do I need to connect my server to landline to make and receive calls ? The plan then is once it working to be able to use softphone in my office and a couple of handsets downstairs into a POE switch. Can this be achieved ? thanks in advance all.

STP, if you have Cisco switches Spanning tree is on by default I believe.

Memory Issue perhaps ? How are the hard disks sounding / looking ? May even be a power supply problem. Strange nothing in event viewer!
