  1. I may still have a set of keys kicking around for one of these... Ill have a look tonight... thats if you still want/need them ?
  2. I actually recommend ScreenConnect over team viewer, its almost the same thing you get a web based central manegment console where you can group together machines / clients. Bonus is, you run the screen connect server. I have it running on an IIS 7 machine at one of the companies I manage. Running solid with about 15 machines. Simple install, just need either a Windows or Linux box that can run IIS or Apache, and database such as MSSQL.
  3. Yes but its client / server based and setup via profiles. Very handy program we use it for syncing/backing up to our remote clients and vice versa
  4. Have a look at Deltacopy, same job as robocopy but a bit nicer and easier to use.
  5. I have home server and an offsite server 90 miles away which syncs. Using my own owncloud servers / deltacopy for backing everything up.
  6. Juniper switches are nice as Core switches... look at the EX range, cheaper than people think too but utterly solid and reliable!
  7. VNC or RDP, the joy of RDP is there is also a console you can download from the MS site where you can save all of your RDP connections into one Console. Just double click and connect...
  8. Go Vanilla, Cheaper and Easier to manage. Use Spiceworks for Inventory
  9. Youd backup system state to a local drive then deltacopy the files offsite.
  10. DeltaCopy - Rsync for Windows
  11. managed to Brute Force my way in. Thanks all.
  12. Just tried it... I get DVR Login: and root doesnt work just get login incorrect almost immediately.
  13. Username is already inputted you just click the username and enter password and dont think it is case sensitive!
  14. Just tried that. No Peas.
  15. Ive got the above DVR. Ive had it a while and have forgotten the Admin Password. Has anyone any experience in resetting the password ? Tried the default '1234' in the Manual. To no avail. Have tried the usual 'Battery' out but no joy, not alot about it on the internet either. Have meailed the place where I bought it from but get a bounce back so guessing email isnt working for them anymore. Thanks all in advance
  16. Id just whack the majority of them into caddies and make them externals.. the rest I would probs put into PC's as a recovery disk using something like Acronis to create A recovery environment / Acronis Safe Zone.
  17. We HD tune them make sure they are good, then whack them in caddies as external drives. Very handy. You can pickup USB3 caddies very cheap.
  18. So have I in other factories, but this is very old software and a very old machine.
  19. ReclaimMe for the win. ReclaiMe File Recovery Software - never fails me. and http://www.stellarinfo.com/
  20. Windows 2000 - blast from the past! Im not sure about recovery disks but im sure Google would yield some results for ISO's if you look, im presuming you have a valid license key.
  21. It certainly should be but these old machines (as in CNC milling) are old, 80's machines that need serial etc to work.
  22. Its not domain joined unfortunately. I may look into doing that if all else fails.
  23. Not sure whats in program files at the moment, the machine is out of town and obviously i cant get into it remotely. Ill take a look next time and report back.
  24. What about enabling Guest account server side ?
  25. Yes, files disappear. No its not up to date it cannot go beyond SP2 apparently due to the software being used.
