About IT_Ninja

Personal Information

  • Biography
I am an expert with a Katana, electric screwdriver and knife & fork.

I know nothing about everything and everything about nothing.

If it's broke I fix it - this doesn't apply to people unfortunately.

I am second to none when compared to Google, although I am probably using Google just very slowly.

    What more do you want??

  1. Uploaded again if you need it ... Link: Zippyshare.com - Motic CD Driver.rar
  2. First try attaching it to another computer using an enclosure or alternative PSU / SATA connector. It's probably worth a run through with Spinrite - this tool is a gem but only run on level 2. There's a 'ticking' sound and a 'clicking' sound, the latter being more prominent. If that is the case the drive is failing. If it's making the clicking sounds then it may be worth doing the freezer method to cool the drive enough to access the data properly and just copy everything off.
  3. Are you looking for the all-in-one stands or the single stands for the monitors?
  4. Any power is liable to cause interference at some stage... Only way to be sure would be to eliminate the possibility by testing the board away from such possible factors.
  5. Sometimes spiking can be caused by electrical interference so worth bypassing it ^^
  6. Have you tried the board firmware update?
  7. Gorgeous fur-balls, we've sent ours home over the weekend - feed will resume Monday. Are yours staying or going cause they need to be tended to over the weekend?
  8. May be out of warranty, worth trying to flash a new firmware or overwriting the current one. Contact Promethean they may have a solution otherwise just tell you to flash firmware - get file from them or their website. Had spiking issues as well, are you Serial or USB. I find the USB better but worth trying whatever you're not using at the moment. Also check your pens, the pen nibs may need to be replaced.
  9. Sorry for delayed reply ... Setup for live stream needed some equipment: IP camera (AXIS M1025 Network Camera). Software encoder - Cam Streamer (this costs 199eur - trial available but only allows for low resolution stream) Dedicated NAS drive - Camera recording over network to NAS drive. Plus internal storage card to record locally as required - motion detection, backup etc. Fairly contained solution but the camera struggles to currently stream at high quality (720p) and record at high quality (720p) hence the jumpy stream, can reduce the recording quality to compensate but not worth it as we want our own HQ video stream. Setup has been changed to stream using OBS on a computer to make the best of both worlds and produce a high quality stream and HQ recording. I know it kinda defies the point in having the IP camera but for now it resolves the jumpy issue. All in all a good project still some config required but for now yay adorable little fluff balls ... Any Q's just ask
  10. Yes sorry, they all hatched the same day save two of the eggs that thankfully hatched the following night. The eggs have an 80% hatch rate and so was a little worried they might not make it but now they have all hatched - yay full house!! They've all been moved into the brooder box. Feed has been updated...
  11. Will add details later... IT-ing ATM. For now enjoy Las chickas and chickos
  12. Fancy watching and welcoming these hatchlings to the jungle... Live camera setup feed to watch the birth of a small army of cuteness. 2 down and 8 more to go Lady Margaret School, a CofE academy for girls aged 11-18, Parsons Green, London - Beyond the classroom More videos and highlights to follow. Good way to kick off Science week.
  13. I'm just gonna leave this here... http://info.nimblestorage.com/afa_challenge.html?utm_medium=newsletter&utm_source=prospectnewsletter&utm_campaign=afa&mkt_tok=3RkMMJWWfF9wsRojvKvLde%2FhmjTEU5z16esoWqCwhokz2EFye%2BLIHETpodcMRcNjNrrYDBceEJhqyQJxPr3GKtQN2Nl8RhfkDQ%3D%3D
  14. Hi Graham, Have you looked on the Intel website: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/60019/Intel-Ethernet-Connection-I217-LM Extract and use as required ... also some drivers are cross compatible. Hope that helps
