  1. Very correct, however in my answer I did state that it is sometimes the parties' interpretation of the colour, so one party may associate a certain colour with communism or liberalism and avoid/chose that. There are already many parties with similar if not the same colour, it is just that the main parties have like you say differentiated to allow the ability to establish a more recognisable brand for their party. United Kingdom political party colours
  2. As far as i'm aware it's to do with ideologies/interpretations of colours, so for example one of the obvious ones would be the green party; as this particular party is more focused on environmental issues they get green rosettes. or on the other hand you have the BNP who use the colours of the Union Jack due to what they stand for.
  3. Let me know if this attachment is helpful. I work with a Multi Academy Trust and this is what we came up with after various meetings that we wanted to know from each Academy, so possibly your local authority/council's could be the same or similar ICT Audit.docx
  4. Some great responses so far lets keep them coming, who knew we were all so diverse !?
  5. Hi Guys, Correct me if I am wrong but I hadn't seen a thread about this before so thought I would post one. The majority of us have similar jobs during the day when it comes to IT but I am just curious at how different we are outside of the office. Have any of you got hidden talents? Have we been sat here all along not knowing you're actually the stack-a-cup champion in Bolivia? Post them below; I'll start the ball rolling with the fact I referee football on my weekends and occasionally midweeks too, it's a great way to keep fit and a get a bit of extra cash in the pocket. I'm working my way up the levels at the moment and hoping to make it to the top eventually. Other things include: Watching Football, F1 and other Motorsports, spending time with the family, girlfriend whilst trying to be the cool uncle to a 3 year old niece p.s Happy Friday !!
  6. If the tablet is to replace your laptop have you looked in to the surface pro range ? (I know this isn't on your list but thought it's worth a mention) We have been using Surface Pro's 2 & 3's at our MAT for the central team as they're always on the go. They're compact, lightweight and easy to set up and combined with our Office 365 email system we were able to download office apps for free
  7. Ah sorry, thought this was for personal use which is why I didn't think to take VAT off ! Thought they had ramped up the price due to the increased traffic on that item
  8. Price seems to have been increased since you posted the link, it's now £349.98 inc. vat
  9. We occasionally see this, also using IE 11. Seems to occur when the user has left OWA open for long periods of time (days not hours) without logging off or closing the tab, haven't yet got to the bottom of this.
  10. £1k a week at 52 weeks in the year is £52,000 isn't it ?
  11. Winston, Archibald, Monty, Avery, [insert more vintage names here]
  12. How very lucky of you
  13. thinking is dangerous territory ...
  14. Sort of like a cross between an armadillo and an aardvark, but on a smaller scale don't you think ?
  15. Noticed the quiz this morning on Google so I've passed on the link to our geography department as a little ice breaker in the ICT lessons, but i'm interested to see what fellow eduGeekers get as answers: Earth Day Quiz I got Honey Badger
