If the desks are permanently in that position you could get sockets run along the floor/under the desks to the required locations. You could also look at getting some floor-ceiling power poles installed.

I recently purchased a Lenovo X220 from ICT-Direct and I'm still not sure on the trackpad. It doesn't always seem to register clicks, especially if you still have a finger on the trackpad as it then thinks you're doing a 2-finger click. I find that when clicking the mouse often jumps a little bit also I miss having proper buttons!!

I'd get in touch with a decent AV company to suggest an appropriate projector/lens combo if you do go for mounting it 18m away. The mounting will have to be pretty substantial also, a little knock and the image will end up well out of line! Could you not mount a projector nearer the screen on one of the lighting bars?

What Andrew said. The house staff would have to organise activities for half the kids, the kitchens still have to run etc, it's easy enough to get the staff and day pupils to come in a day extra and teach as normal. It's not that bad, we get a day off in lieu for it.

The first I knew it was moving was when I called up about a replacement part under warranty and was told I'd have to wait a few days as all of their stock had been sent to another company. Then I got an email update from Kelway today about my parts being sent out. Still not had anything from RM to tell us about the changes.

All RM hardware (laptops, desktops and servers) warranties will be dealt with by this 3rd party company apparently.

I've not tried with Windows Thin PC, but there were were restrictions on Windows FLP that prevented you installing Microsoft Office on it.

We have a couple of fibre links across public roads, one is on a catenary. The other went underground and required digging up the road. It was done before my time so I'm not sure how much it cost and what procedures need to be followed. Underground requires much less ongoing maintenance work than overhead on catenary wires

Same here. Arena look after our fleet of ~100 printers (). Very good service. It's great not having to worry about repairing printers now. We're looking to use Arena for our photocopiers also and move to PaperCut MF.

Hi all This is a personal query.. I'm looking to replace my personal HP laptop as it's quite dated and at times struggles to play iPlayer radio without stuttering! There also seems to be an issue with the charging socket/circuit and battery I quite like the HP laptops so I was looking at the ProBook range and came across a 6470b that looked like a decent spec (although I'm a little out of tune with what's a new/decent processor). It has an i5 3340m, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD and the Intel HD 4000 graphics (I don't really play any games on it so this shouldn't really be an issue?). Is this a good spec laptop for £350? Do these range of business laptops have 3 year warranties as standard with HP? Thanks

Like others have said, Target Tracker just works... I've got v14.0.1 installed here. Just import the msi straight in to the RMMC and deploy. No need to mess around capturing a package using clean machines.

Smaller mixer if you don't need as many inputs, just make sure you get one that can be rackmounted (may require specific brackets from the supplier).
